Gold Core is proud to be for everyBODY. Whether your child is looking to increase athletic performance or seeking a fun way to get fit, Gold Core is for you. Unlike other facilities, young athletes at Gold Core are coached from the moment they enter the facility to the moment they leave. Our program is based on consistent, continual coaching.

Every group is led by a coach through proper stretching and warm-up and then taken through the entire program by a group of coaches. Our unique program includes instruction in movement training, injury reduction and rehabilitation, linear and lateral speed techniques, foot speed and agility, explosive power development, proper functional strength training and energy system conditioning.
Services
Adult groups at Gold Core are designed to help you move better and feel healthier than ever before. Each program is modified for your training level. Our program and our community will motivate and encourage you. Remember, Gold Core is not just for athletes! 50% of our clients are adults. Adult groups are available from two to three times a week depending on your needs and availability.
We specialize in athletic strength and conditioning for a variety of sports. We will build a program based on the demands of an athletes sport or sports. We work with everyBODY from professional athletes to young men and women just beginning their journey. Below you will find pictures of many of our athletes.

Very satisfied! We signed up our 13 year old son for some training classes. Sam and staff have done a good job of customizing a program that suits and challenges him. So different than a "big gym" feel. Very personalized and the staff is very welcoming.

This is great place for youth athletic development! My son plays top tier hockey and he loves coming here to train. He is excited to build strength, coordination, but most importantly confidence! The coaches are all patient and encouraging. Sam, the owner is very personable, helpful and also plays hockey too! He has a training program specifically for hockey players! We feel grateful to have both him and the gym. Highly recommended!

Sam and Nathan have been fantastic for me and my health. After some in-depth discussions about my health profile and some prior injuries, they designed a program specifically for me that has yielded great results. The charm of the gym is the personal interaction between trainers and clients and between clients and other clients who train in small classes together. The camaraderie is encouraging and strikes a perfect balance to motivate.

I was referred to Balance Fitness by my son's tennis coach. My son competes in the USTA junior circuit and adding Balance Fitness to his tennis training has improved his core strength, speed, agility, balance and stamina. I joined Balance's adult fitness classes to try something different after several years of large group fitness classes, bootcamp style classes high impact classes etc. I wanted to build a habit of exercise that I could keep up with for years and high impact training was not the answer. Balance Fitness adult classes are small (about 2 to 6 people) and taught by attentive trainers

I love it here. I've been here for almost a year now. It's like semi-personal training at a great price. Sam and nathan are great at holding you accountable. They work around my work schedule as needed. Super nice guys. Be ready for a challenge but you will definitely see results. I've lost 50 lbs so far. I recommend it to anyone who wants to take health and fitness seriously. : )

Great workout with Sam. He is very friendly and social. I appreciated that he tweaked details of the workout to cater to everyone's skill level. For example, we all started with a 10lb free weight, and when he saw I was going through the motions fairly easily he bumped me to 15lbs. I was definitely able to push myself and get a good sweat on. The studio is small but very clean with various different weights and equipment. My only critique is that I wish there was a 2 - 5 min cool down/stretch after the workout.

Love love love this Studio! I have, and will continue to recommend Balance Fitness!

I love that they have both yoga and whole body workout classes. Equipment is well maintained and everything is always really clean.

Sam always makes sure you use proper form and he keeps incorporating new exercises which definitely makes working out less dreadful! He tailors workouts for different fitness levels in an almost personal training environment - always making sure to challenge you. This is as personalized as group fitness can get. If Sam can get me to work out and stick to it, he can really help anyone

Balance was the first gym that made me actually love the process of working out! I always feel like I have my own personal trainer when working out at Balance. The classes are kept small and Sam is great at making sure his exercises are tailored for everyone no matter what your fitness level. The combination of cardio and strength is the perfect mix for a whole body workout! The space is always clean and the equipment looks like new - definitely a big plus in my book. If you're looking for a genuine trainer who will work with you towards your fitness goals - Balance is it!

There are reasons to exercise at a small local gym... Not crowded, clean equipment, hospitality from someone who legitimately cares about your success, and convenience. But most of all in my opinion: dedicated professional instruction from a trainer who not only works you harder, but makes you do it properly for maximum benefit (and reducing risk of injury)

These guys nail it. If you are considering a gym for these reasons, I highly recommend Balance. I'm happy with my decision every time I leave. Thank you guys!

Balance Fitness will easily become a usual gym for me. Pam (owner/instructor) is awesome- warm, welcoming and fun! The classes are kept small (up to 8 people) so it is an intimate and personalized experience. Students are regulars so it's community-like.

The first time I went, there were three people in my class (one of which I met through another gym/classes). It felt like I was practicing with a few friends- it was challenging, energetic and comforting. We used a few mins of the class to get 1:1 time with Pam and practice anything of choice- I tried my first headstand (TWICE)! Something

Pam is the absolute best at Balance fitness. I love coming here and doing the balance workout as I'm never disappointed & always get a great full body workout. I wake up the next morning feeling sore all over in places that I didn't even know existed. Unlike other studios that tell you what to do and walk around Pam makes sure your doing the exercises properly by correcting your form if need. By far one of the best workouts I've ever hard.

3 cheers for finally finding an awesome yoga studio in the South Bay. Pam is an amazing instructor and sets a really nice tone for her classes. There were 2 of us in class and she did a great job teaching a flow that was challenging in just the right way. I loved the music and the space is great. I felt very comfortable there. They also provide free Jade mats to practice with (and towels). I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Update: I am obsessed with this studio. Both Pam and Sam's classes will give you an amazing workout. Both of them are very hands on and will make sure you have good form and get the most out of each exercise. Pam's yoga classes are also wonderful. The small size of each class really allows you to benefit from the practice. I have definitely gotten much stronger since I began coming to Balance. Thanks Pam and Sam, you guys rock!

I have known Sam for over ten years, from training in the same private studio while home on summer break in college, through the start of his personal training career, to growing his own client base organically through doing things right and creating a personalized program for each individual client's needs. I have worked out with both Pam and Sam and can't say enough how much I like working with them. They each have a very different style but both challenge me and keep me from getting into a fitness rut. The new spot is great. Intimate, but fully stocked. It's basically like getting personal training at all times...even when there are a few others in your group. Who doesn't love the personal attention?

Anyway, get over there! Highly recommend!
