Dynamic Grit Fitness
Its purpose is to provide a carefully thought out training program for people who want to be healthy and get into a great functional training and strength program. Overall, our programs are designed for weight loss, toning, and building lean muscle. Join us and learn how to be healthy and strong. We believe in the 5 pillars of fitness: strength training, cardiovascular endurance, core strengthening, balance, and flexibility.

By incorporating these components into our exercise program, we can provide long-lasting results. Dynamic Grit Fitness functional training techniques are organized in the most logical sequence to benefit our client's needs in a fun and cooperative training environment. Our mission is to conduct our small group training classes and personal training gym sessions with the utmost concern for safety and client growth.
Services
We offer 2 services online: group classes and private training. Our classes/sessions are taught through Zoom Cloud Meetings. We recommend having dumbbells or other weights but can improvise using household items such as detergent, water bottles, canned goods, etc. Classes/Sessions are 30 minutes long and will be a well-rounded combination of strength training, cardiovascular endurance, balance training, core strengthening, and flexibility.
Most of all, we limit the size of our class in order to provide the 1-on-1 attention our clients deserve. Our mission is to help get to your fitness goals. Work with our highly skilled trainers. We offer individualized exercise programs that range from: adding lean muscle mass, weight loss, balance training, core training, and functional training. We emphasize proper exercise execution so clients target the correct muscle groups to maximize results.
From being strong to having the ability to run a marathon or sprint to having a strong core to being well versed in balance to being flexible, it is difficult to excel in all of these. However, the body works as one so we want all 5 pillars of fitness to improve in each of our athletes: strength training, cardiovascular endurance, core strengthening, balance training, and flexibility.

I was recently in Redondo Beach for a visit with family and discovered Dynamic Grit. I am a bit older and, after some recent weight loss, was curious to see if someone could provide guidance on my flexibility, strength, and balance. The first question Mars asked was “how does your body feel today?” I was immediately impressed! Nobody had ever really asked before. Mars and Kei are top-notch. They are extremely focused on meeting you where you are, and "stay in it" with you, regardless of life's ups and downs. They are very conscientious of COVID protocols, and clean and sanitize everything.
In terms of training - If you are goal-oriented, they will meet you there. If you just need to get to a healthy place, they will meet you there, too. Their focus is to build a relationship with you that matters, and it reaches beyond just your physical health and fitness. I trust these guys with anything!

Don't let the size of this gym surprise you. It is a full service gym offering personal training, training classes, stretching and other virtual classes. You will also learn about nutrition and healthy ways to live your life. You will meet a variety of people who are nice and are driven to achieve their fitness goals. Mars and Kei are by far the best trainers in town! I have been working out with Mars since March 2013. Started with him at 24 hour fitness and followed him to Dynamic Grit Fitness. Mars helped me overhaul my diet, workouts, lifestyle, everything! What a journey it's been! I moved up to NorCal a little over a year ago and continue to workout with Mars at least twice a week over Zoom. We keep taking it to the next level with each passing month/year. Dynamic Grit fitness is one of my favorite local gyms! Kei, Mars, and Gabe are incredibly kind, funny, and knowledgeable trainers who have fostered a wonderful and supportive gym community of all fitness abilities. The trainers/owners, Kei & Mars are top notch. They are VERY knowledgeable, educated, lively, smart, fun & FUNNY! They promote total fitness for all ages. The studio has the option of personal training and/or small group classes, all of which I highly recommend. They recently added Gabe as a trainer & he fits right in. This is a very inclusive & diverse group of people who are serious about their workouts, but who also want to have some fun with it. I can't tell you what a difference this place has made in my life.

For 10 years I've had such back pains but ever since I've been coming here my back is 100% pain free! The staff here is so nice and helpful with whatever I need. Everyone here is very friendly and welcoming. 5 stars isn't enough, I'd rate this place 10 stars!!!

Kei & Mars are the best trainers who really care about their clients. They have created a great gym and are very supportive of everyone's fitness needs. They watch you train, correct you when needed and teach how to workout correctly. I love coming here. They create different programs each day and you never get bored. This is truly a special place to work out where the trainers care, are professional and extremely knowledgeable.

I've been training with Mars for almost 8 months now, and believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers in the South Bay. I started training three times a week, really enjoyed the variety & challenge he put into the sessions.
He is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). My fitness has increased noticeably and I've seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. Awesomeness!!!! A fiend of mine introduced me to Dynamic Grit when I was trying to get back in shape for a competition among friends, and I am glad I listened. Mars is friendly and extremely knowledgeable, I told him about my goals and we planned for success. I love the size of my classes, it's fun to be in a group setting and yet have the personal guidance I needed. I am happy I invested in myself, the price for training is simply worth it. I am very grateful to have found DGF and train with Mars and Kei. It's easy to see how passionate these two trainers are and how much they love what they do. Each of them have their own style of training, but are both effective in getting you results. Before coming to this gym I thought personal training was just working out inside the gym. Kei and Mars will push you harder than you ever thought you could go. And you'll do it much to your own amazement! Two years ago, I had bad checkups and Drs said that I was heading down a path of heart and blood problems. Today, I am running 5Ks and doing burpies. Never, ever thought i could do that. Heath is back to normal and check-ups are great.

Kei and Mars are real fitness professionals. The are trained in cardiovascular health and will spot you through your transformation.

Oh and don't be cheap when it comes to running shoes. Buy custom, expensive shoes. Your feet, Achilles

If I could give Dynamic Grit more than 5 stars I would. I wanted to help my mom, Anna, be healthier after a slew of health issues and weight gain that she experienced. Even though I'm personally located in Santa Barbara, they were able to communicate with me efficiently through email and phone to set up personal training for my mom. They were super professional and friendly, which my mom can attest to.

Kei is very knowledgeable, well-educated(according to my mom, he studies Kinesiology at USC), and a dedicated personal trainer. He worked one-on-one with my mom and showed her how to do various

Mars and kei are two extremely dedicated personal trainers. They both have a vast inventory of equipment and the know how to accommodate the novices but can humble even the strongest of body builders with just a 10lbs of weight. None compare to the genuine interest and well being of their clients they both invest their heart and soul into getting you results and keeping it.

Mars & Kei have been incredible in my fitness journey. Before working out with them, I had never been able to stick to working out regularly. Now I work out almost everyday! This place is awesome! Mars and Kei are fantastic trainers with tons of knowledge and will work with you no matter what fitness level you are at. Their group training is great! You'll get a really good workout doing a variety of exercises so you'll never get bored of doing the same things over and over. I also love the group workouts because they provide you with a comforting atmosphere and you feel like you're a part of a team, which makes you want to go even on those days you're exhausted from work. Ironically, I found this gym while I was picking up pizza. I looked in from the sidewalk, and instead of seeing the typical meatheads that have usually discouraged me from joining a gym, I saw a bunch of regular people doing these unique, innovative exercises that looked fun and challenging. I waited until a class was over to ask some questions, and Mars was more than helpful, friendly, and excited. My experience with Dynamic Grit Fitness has been nothing short of amazing. Kei is such a talented trainer. He's not only knowledgeable, but customizes personal workouts that fit my busy work schedule. I really enjoy how he mixes up the workouts so that I don't plateau. My experience with Dynamic Grit Fitness has turned from a preparation for a summer vacation to more of a positive lifestyle change.

My experience with Mars has guided me to reach my goals and to build new ones. I am 5'8 and WAS 220 lbs. Although, it has been a battle, Mars kept me focused, educated, challenged, and pushed me when I needed confidence. He is a great trainer. It was nice that he could relate to my situation and I put trust that he had the blueprint. I thank him for guiding me as I shed the pounds away. I was 185 lbs. for that summer vacation but I wasn't satisfied

Kei and Mars are two of the most dedicated trainers/people I have ever come across. They are 100% focused on their clients' goals, even in a group environment they manage to give you one on one time. These guys are very knowledgeable and come up with fun yet effective exercises. The light air and fun atmosphere is welcoming, however you will work...hard...and sweat...a lot! Additionally, Dynamic Grit Fitness' fees are very affordable, and for what you get...you feel like you are stealing.
