2019 NC Home Inspector Licensing Board Survey indicates that we inspect more New Construction homes than any other home inspector in NC. On average, we inspect 10-X more. Homes today are built by up to 40 subcontractors with as few as 4 being licensed contractors, and your typical county building inspector spends just a few minutes at your home per visit.

Mr. Jeff Terry spent almost 45 minutes on the phone with me, patiently answering questions and helping me during my first home buying experience. This was before we even hired him to inspect our soon to be new home. I had been set up with a different inspector, who seemed unconcerned with my questions- which drove me to seek out someone else. Needless to say, I cancelled the other inspector and felt in good hands working with Mr. Terry. I hired Jeff because of his great reviews, and I can easily add one more. I hired Jeff to do a 2 property inspection. Jeff communicated well prior to the inspection and worked diligently for the entire time of the inspection including getting under the house and inspecting all important details there. Jeff explained things well to me and did a good job of prioritizing the importance of the different inspection items. Jeff is a very professional inspector and was very detailed in his report. He listened to all of our concerns and explained in great detail the findings of his inspection. He also gave us advice on how we could repair any issue. He made it very personable to our situation. Every time I called him, he answered and made sure I felt comfortable with any and all questions/concerns and welcomed me to call back in future.

If you are looking for an inspector, Jeff Terry is your guy! When we found Jeff Terry’s website, we were pleased to see a section that estimates costs for your home inspection. We were easily able to calculate what our home inspection would cost, and what Jeff invoiced us for was exactly what we estimated.
