Gentle Care Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and veterinarian conveniently located off Kildaire Farm Road and Ten Ten Road in Cary, North Carolina. Services
Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. We believe strongly in preventative care for the simple reason that it is far easier to prevent issues than to treat an illness after it has developed. We understand the stress that can be associated with a vet visit for your cat, and we try to reduce this stress on you and your pet.
In order to maintain our high standard of service, we require that payment be made at the time services are rendered. We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges. Gentle Care Animal Hospital at Ten Ten is happy to accept Cash, Check, Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), Scratchpay and CareCredit.
Absolutely phenomenal clinic. Dr. Rich is not only a very intelligent vet, but she goes above and beyond to care for her animals (and their families). I drive 40 minutes and pass multiple vet clinics to take my German Shepard to Fairburn Animal Clinic. Dr. Chris and the Animal Medical Clinic of Fairburn team have taken very good care of my pets over the years.

To that end, we offer a comprehensive list of wellness services and preventative treatments to keep your pets healthy and happy for as long as possible.
Our feline patients are greeted with a cat-specific waiting area that is separate from our more boisterous canine friends. Feline specific rooms: to reduce anxiety associated with the sights and smells of dogs, our feline patients have their own designated room. Short waiting time in the lobby: we make every attempt to move you and your cat into our exam rooms as quickly as possible.

The staff is wonderful and took such good care of my fur baby while he was there for his dental. They kept me informed the entire time and went over everything they recommended. I was also never surprised with the price of everything because they informed me of everything along the way. Thank you for everything!!

My fur baby and I both love coming here! Being a first time dog mom, I have had so many questions. Staff is always happy to answer anything and everything we may need. Good communication, friendly and quick service, they really go above-and-beyond! We LOVE Dr. Phillips, receptionists, and all the techs! We make the trip from Greenville just to come here!

I have had several dogs over the years as patients at Gentle Care (formerly Creature Comforts) including my current 3 dogs. Have to admit that when my former vet decided to leave Creature Comforts I thought it may be a good time to shop around for a new vet. However I’m so glad I didn’t shop around because I am thoroughly impressed with Gentle Care, from the front office staff to Dr. Patterson. At our last visit they sent home lots of goodies including a stuffed animal that Daisy loves!

I wanted to give a shout out to Dr. Patterson and his team. They always are very attentive to my senior Golden Toby and take the extra time with him and his special needs.
Kristina is absolutely wonderful and always answers my questions or concerns. She is helping a family get in touch with fostering so it’s a winning situation for all. She is always willing to go the extra mile.

My parents have been going here since they opened. When I got my new dog we knew exactly where to go! My dog and I went on a Friday, they were extremely accommodating and super nice!! The vet was very knowledgable and explained what was going on with my dog! 10/10 recommend!!

Had our Wire Fox Terrier groomed by Lindsey. She did a very nice job and she is very open for suggestions as to how to groom a wire. She was very accommodating regarding her schedule for me as I was driving over an hour to her location. I will definitely bring our guy up here for grooming again. Lindsey is very professional and very nice when it comes to dealing with your fur baby!

Took my Boxer for second opinion and opted to go with their plan to take care of a tumor that was on his ear. Dr. Bigsby and her staff are absolutely amazing and have moved both my Boxers to them. There is not doubt the care the Dr's and staff have for animals. They went above and beyond what I would have ever imaged.
