Cinema cafe is normally my go to spot for catching any new movies. However me and my best friend went to the cinema cafe on Kemps river... which is our normal spot, and I was very disappointed with the service. We ordered at the same time and my drink came out 20 minutes after my best friend's drink, and i was super thirsty. But ok no big deal. But then, my food order never came. I watched my best friend devour her food while mine was no where to be found. I clicked a little light, to summon the server to let her know that my food has not arrived. She never came. I had to stop a random server to

Excellent reclining seats with a nice built-in mini table. The video and sound quality were excellent! Very good Philly Cheese steak and a generous portion of fries for just under $17 with tax and tip (not counting cost of movie). Tasted great, but overpriced by quite a bit. Lauren was an excellent server!

The seats were comfortable. The lights never went down but we didn't mind. The waiter was nice and the food was really good. Their chicken strips are real chicken and huge pieces. The pizza is well topped.

Good movie, Great food.
Only complaint is they don't really enforce seating but you have to choose it online.
We ended in having to sit elsewhere because out seats were taken.

The drinks were amazing!!! The food wasn't too thrilled. Then they had to previews playing in Spanish unless that's something new all theaters starting to do. The server was extremely slow and we kept calling for her but it took forever. No tip for her. But I'll probably never visit there ever again with my family. So so so so disappointing

Our movie experience at Cinema Cafe was ok. Recently went to see 007, the movie theatre needs an update. The seat, I sat in was broke. I felt like I was sliding down a slide. The theatre had a strong musty stale odor, probably from being closed up during Covid-19. Our server was spot on and deserves a gold star. We were welcomed and left pleased with everyone we encountered.

A new makeover of the theatre seats, carpet, and other amenities would increase customer visits.

Nice and clean and in good working order. Wide variety of menu items. Quantity and quality of food is better than expected for a theater, it's very good, and priced right. Service is prompt and courteous. Friendly and helpful staff at every turn. It's my fave movie house!

This was my first time having dinner and a movie all in one place. It was pretty cool. I loved the 1950's vibe with the classic cars for seats and the decor. The food was delicious. I had the megaplex which was a sampler of the finger foods. Not bad price for a movie theater. I think it would be cool if the seats would recline when finished with dinner. The seats at the paragon are awesome. But it is cool how as one person is taking your order 5 others are bringing orders out. Cool place over all. The movie Jungle cruise was hilarious too.

Yall looking for a good deal! Come down to dis place on a Wednesday yall! Movie tickets are $4.00! Now I will say the draw back to this is the following:
1. Hardly any movie choices and its a small movie theatre. The cinema Café in Chesapeake is to me a bit more fancier and a tad bigger.

2. The tables remind me of elementary school cafeteria tables that are planted way to far away from you when you sit down. You cant move them either so its comical leaning forward and eating.

3. The servers we had took a long time to answer the call button, and rarely came back so I had to flag down someone

I'd like to preface and say I've been to all the other locations of cinema cafe and I honestly enjoy the franchise. After saying that what the HECK!
This location, like the venue itself is a PASS. The whole theater kind of has a used feeling to it. Where as the other locations have recliners or cpu chairs. This location has old theater seats that look like for lack of a better word... soiled. You have to sit to use a table placed in front of it, the tables look like they came out of A elementary school. The whole place looked like it needed a dusting. I laid my cover up across the back

Okay this place deserves a 3.5 almost a 4 but could use a nice face lift. Tons of great idea all in one location! There's a small arcade gaming area just passing the ticket booth. Next some real cool restrooms passing by the ticket stand. Then the theaters. This location even serves food, drinks, desserts, wine, beer, etc. Only problem with all of that is none were really a 5 out of 5 but you see all of the potential. If this location received some TLC it'll really be an Amazing 4-5 star location. Prices are absolutely amazing and the service buttons in the restrooms were absolutely genius

Went to go see avengers tonight, very good movie but my service was poor. I ordered wings and a side of fries and I didn't receive them until halfway through the movie. Even though I ordered them before the movie started. I don't know my waitress forgot to put my order in what but I had to request it 2 separate times.

Came here with my friend to see the movie us. They let you sit down 15 min before the start time and a waiter came as soon as we hit the button . We ordered the mega plex and 2 drinks. The food is kind of pricey which is why we shared the sampler which came with a lot of great options and has all your appetizer favorites . Come with mozzarella sticks, nachos, corn dog nuggets, chicken wings, chicken tenders, onion rings and pretzels with ranch , honey mustards , ketchup and cheese sauce on the side. They checked on us twice throughout and I will definitely come again .

The tickets are a pretty good price. Me and my boyfriend come here a lot and the food is good. Not five star restaurant but pretty decent. Not like the other movie theatre near by. That one is so trash. The people here duck down and try not to block our vision. The food is actual pretty decent. The pizza is soo good. Same with their ranch and their chicken tenders are so thick. Yummy. Their lemonade is delicious. My bf loves the chilliest cheese fries. Those are freaking delicious.

Cinema cafe was definitely a miss. They have extremely poor service and my experience was terrible. This was my first time visiting this location and as a first time comer I am not coming back. At first when arriving the women working the ticket booth were not so friendly and made it hard for me to chose a seat. Upon arriving in the theater i did not get greeted or given a menu. I tried multiple times to get the attention of three waiters and they all blatantly ignored me. Then when getting the attention of another waiter he was rude and laughed at me for asking for water. It then took another

This was our first time at this location and we were very pleasantly surprised. It's obviously an old multiplex that was renovated to fit the cinema cafe business model. It appears they have taken out every other row of seats to add the tables. This lends itself to a really enjoyable experience. The seats are comfy and you don't feel crowded in like the Kempsville location.

The service was fantastic! We were there about 20 minutes before the advertised start time of the movie, and one server took everyone's order. This concerned me at first, but I shouldn't have worried

This has to be my favorite location in the area.
I love the stadium seating and my daughter (8) enjoyed it as well.

The movie quality is acceptable definitely not your ultimate experience, but it was suffice!

Being able to order food and drink while watching a new movie, in my book, is always a huge plus!

I ordered the Asian wrap with fries and my daughter had the half rack of baby back ribs with fries. We also ordered two boxes of popcorn. The food was fresh although the temperature of the food was lukewarm. It was filling and we needed "togo" containers.

For drinks, I ordered
