Volume loss due to aging can began in our late 20's. There are varying degrees of superficial and deep fat loss, in combination with bony structural changes and collagen depletion that are occurring as we age. Aging is multifactorial and sometimes treatment has to be addressed accordingly. There are many fillers that are FDA approved for correction of volume loss and superficial lines and wrinkles.
Laser hair removal will reduce the growth of unwanted hair by targeting highly pigmented hair follicles. It destroys hair follicles with dark, coarse hairs. Laser hair removal treatments are about 6-8 weeks apart and we advise our patients not to wax or tweeze the hair in between the treatments. IPL, often times called photofacial or phototherapy, can address brown pigmentation, age spots, red capillaries and veins.
PRP injections for hair loss is a minimally invasive procedure to stimulate hair growth on the scalp. Blood is collected from the patient, the platelets are extracted, and then injected into the scalp where there is more visible hair thinning and hair loss. PRP contains growth factors that can help stimulate dormant hair follicles.

I had a difficult skin condition that was misdiagnosed by other dermatologists. I came to the conclusion that many doctors in this field were unworthy. This was not the case with Dr. Fiore. Dr. Fiore ignored the other doctor's opinions, did a lab test of my skin and proceeded with her own treatment. I visited Dr. Fiore for a number of years afterwards but eventually came to a point where I did not need any treatment.. Imagine, visiting a dermatologist and becoming cured!

I have been a patient of Dr. Fiore for the past twenty years. I actually see her on a monthly basis because I am an extremely fair skinned person who has experienced all types of skin cancer with exception of melanoma. Dr. Fiore is extremely intelligent and careful. She has become a friend over the years and I have the utmost trust in her. My 3 children (ages 20, 18, and 14 ) as well as myself have been patients in the office for about 10 years and my review is so long overdue. I want to try and express what a lovely dermatologist's office this is. The office is immaculate and the people that work here have all been so helpful to us.
