We bought a mattress at the NYC store eight years ago and its a malformed, uneven mess. Keetsa also won't honor the warranty: turns out if you check the fine print there's a ton of loopholes to ensure they don't actually have to comply with their promises of the "best warranty in the business". Also the mattresses are actually only environmentally friendly if they aren't landfill in a few years. The whole story is up at www.keetsa-mattress.com

Hi. I purchased the Keetsa Plus in 2015. After five years of average use, it became soft and unuseable without a topper to firm it up. The Company refused to replace it under warranty as the indentation wasn’t deep enough. These mattresses are made in Asia and not the best quality. I suggest spend more money with a more established/reputable Company. Also, take the reviews online with a grain of salt (I didn’t do that).

My partner and I went to "test drive" mattresses at KEETSA last week and had an incredible experiences. The mattresses were displayed and we were able to try them each, plus the store manager, Josh, was incredibly helpful with any questions we had, including unboxing, delivery, and (hopefully not) returns. Their customer service and incredible manufacturing, plus 12-year warrantee, means I'll never buy another mattress that's not a KEETSA.

What a fun surprise, I stumbled upon the store after shopping next-door at the tile place. The show room is beautiful and it is zero pressure. I needed a mattress for a specific reason and the sales woman helped me find something that would be perfect for my price range without trying to oversell me. The mattress was in stock. And I was able to go home with it, unwrap it, and enjoy it immediately. This is truly a lovely place with many kinds of mattresses to fit all needs. And I was pleasantly surprised to know that even the very high-end mattresses Are available to take home in a box immediately

THE GOOD: We ordered our KEETSA to pair with our new mattress, and I am absolutely pleased. Steel is a very sustainable resource and I am happy to support a company that is being mindful about their impact on the environment (Sustainable Furnishings Council, etc...).
THE "EH": Not a fan of the velcro used to put the slats into place. Velcro simply will end up as trash once the frame reaches the end of life and I think it is important to have a circular mindset. Also, it would be nice to know if the birch wood was intentionally sourced!

I have the mattress topper which I reviewed already. This is about the eye mask. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Guys, it's so worth it. It doesn't press on my eyes (which leaved my blind for hours) and it gives perfect coverage even when I am falling asleep on my side. I am sure there are many options for great eye masks out there. This is a top competitor and you won't go wrong if you just add it to your cart.

We bought our Keetsa mattress in their New York city store after flirting with the selection on Albert Kinney in Venice CA. We love it! It is so comfortable and the 10” instead of 14” or 17” mattress depth means we can use standard sized sheets. The fact that you have up to a year to return your mattress if you don't like it makes it an entirely risk-free,purchase.

Just purchased the tea leaf dream, the most expensive mattress they offer. Before delivery, I e-mailed them twice as well as called, to make sure they offer free recycling of my old mattress, which their website FAQ implies they offer, and that they are in compliance with CA law. I never received a response to this question (on the phone they said they would get back to me, but didn't-on e-mail they never responded), so I hoped for the best.

First, the mattress is advertised as being made of healthy, eco-friendly materials, but took two months to complete offgassing before we were able to sleep on it without headaches. It continues to exhibit a chemical smell.
Second, we purchased a Cal King size for the extra 4 inches of length but the mattress is 3 inches shorter than it should be. The mattress was shipped rolled-up and we were advised it may take some to expand. However, after many months the mattress is still too short.

I've bought Keetsa mattresses twice, and each one was disappointing in different ways.
Mattress #1: The first few months, the mattress seemed comfortable. At the time, it seemed to be well made without an outrageous price tag (though not cheap either). But less than a year later, the mattress was already sagging in multiple sections. This prematurely bumpy mattress was plain uncomfortable.
Mattress #2: Against better judgement (during a chaotic move to a new apartment), I gave Keetsa another try. With all their green-washing hype, it's ironic that the new mattress had a synthetic odor

What a bizarro experience. Walked in with my husband to check out beds, and the salesperson comes out, but goes straight to his laptop and stays there the entire time we're looking! The only words exchanged were when we asked him what beds were good for our sleep positions. He points out 3 beds, and that's it! Why would anyone want to buy from this spot? Happy to take our business elsewhere.

Love the mattress, but the delivery experience was horrible. I agreed to pay the extra $100 fee to have my old bed frame removed and the mattress delivered.
The Keetsa delivery guy was rude and accusatory, asking for the name of the person I spoke with when I scheduled the delivery, who told me that they could take the old frame.
He seemed genuinely and generally angry.
And then asked for an extra $35 to take the frame.
At that point I wanted him out of my home and told him I'd deal with the frame. I will recommend against anyone in the Bay Area getting delivery from y'all.

My review deserves an update because of the fantastic customer service from Keetsa when I called and reported the issues in my review. They sent us a brand new mattress which is an improved version of the same model we purchased previously. The service rep delivered and unpacked the new one, and he took away the old one. He did this after verifying that our box springs were up to spec and weren't the cause of the issues with our old mattress. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to call Keetsa. It's been a year with the replacement, and we still love the new mattress even more than

I love Keetsa, I have had two of these mattresses and they have been perfect. My spouse and I both have allergies and some of the chemicals in commercial mattresses are less than ideal for allergies. The base model matteress (the cheapest one) is the perfect amount of firm, we also have the most expensive model mattress from Keetsa it has memory foam - I like firm and this still works for me. I have had my mattress since 2011, no complaints yet.
If you are a very large person (or two), 400+ lbs you may want to go with the higher end mattresses at Keetsa, they have more support.

So we went shopping for mattress this weekend. We visited 4 stores. European sleep works, Keetsa (SF), Nest (SF) and Sleep train (SF). We ended up buying one bed from Keetsa and one from European sleep works (both kids beds for our kids). The show room is nice and the sales staff was great.
We worked with Isabel and she was great. No pressure, no BS, just information.
I'm a sales person and I do work on commission, but I sell houses. When you're buying a bed, which is basically a commodity, there shouldn't be any pressure or sales tactics. Here's the product, benefits

Just wanted to give an update. The store manager Mike, proactively reached out to us since I had sent out a warranty request and never completed it due to the 1.5 inch compression. Not sure if it was because he saw this review, or b/c he was just cleaning up email. Either way, he asked me to fill out all of the information and ended up providing us a replacement with warranty.
So for that alone, definitely worth at least 3 stars for the great customer service.

Due to a complaint from a friend, which was similar to many others on Yelp: there was a very noticeable dent where her and her husband slept. They had their Pillow Plus mattress for less than a year at that point, so I checked it out myself and immediately wrote off Keetsa mattresses. Yikes.
But, after visiting every other mattress store where costs were hundreds of dollars over Keetsa prices, my boyfriend and I ended up checking the store out for ourselves, and I'm glad we did.

Over a few years, we've bought two king size Tea Leaf Supreme mattresses from them, along with one basic and one high end frame, so we've had a lot of time to put them to good use. We've also purchased a Tempurpedic queen a while back, so there's some basis for comparison.
At the end of the day, even the best products have problems sometimes, and a latent defect in ours led to some excessive sag. The guys here stood behind their warranty many years later and were responsive. They did the right thing and deserve a 5 star rating in my book.

We absolutely loved the service at this location. Very friendly, well informed and not pushy at all.
****They don't have a team of guys who deliver their products b/c the mattress fits in this really cool box with wheels on it. Super cool and easy. When you get home and unwrap the mattress, it comes to life like nothing you've ever witnessed before. Update, they do offer a delivery service but the lines of communication
