White glove delivery is available to all greater San Francisco Bay Area counties. White glove delivery includes delivery, set up of mattress and foundation, and removal of old mattress and box spring. The delivery fee is determined by zip code. To build a great mattress, we found we had to take a different approach from the conventional mattress market. Our mattresses are designed to respond with sensitivity to the weight and shape of the body for pressure reduction, stability, and comfort. They are also designed to maximize breathability, sleep cooler and drier, maintain healthier sleep temperatures and minimize allergens.
The design of your average pillow takes a one-size-fits-all approach to comfort. But most of us have pretty specific support and comfort needs based on our build, sleep position and preferences. Our bed lasted 20 years, including 9 with meaty, beaty, big and bouncy tenants. I always liked the bed as it would heal my back from road trips. We got a king bed 10 years ago from somewhere else to help mind our kid. Now I’m looking at the side slat broken where the bolt goes in and I’m realizing 2 things: 1. I can fix this with IKEA parts! Think back to 1950s American car construction- designed to be fixed by yourself! 2. The wood type and finish are definitely higher grade than IKEA. I’m in Alberta now, but with my very recent perspective I wish these folks well.

After accidentally discovering the Oxygen pillow while house-sitting for some smart friends, I bought one a couple months ago, and I’m thrilled with it. The fitting process was easy and thorough, the reps were extremely kind and helpful, and even though I have obstructive sleep apnea, I’ve slept drastically better since owning this pillow. We purchased a Nordic II bed with an Adjustable Bed Frame about 16 months ago. The control box that controls the remote control broke and we called European Sleep Works to help us diagnose the problem and ultimately fantastic. Karina and Steven were fantastic to work with; cooperative, knowledgeable, professional and supportive. I also was calling the manufacturer of the Adjustable Frame (Reverie) and it was definitely more challenging dealing with them (long delays in customer service response).

I ordered a bed that was made in Vermont from European Sleep Works. Karina got the approval of the manufacturer to modify their specific bed height measurements. It took 20 weeks for the bed to be made and shipped from the east coast. Unfortunately, the manufacturer forgot to include some of the hardware.
However, I was extremely impressed with European Sleep Works Manager, Steve. His creative and timely customer service resolution was to use parts from their store floor model for my bed. Their team arrived the following day and put together my beautiful bed!

My partner and I have enjoyed a great European Sleep Works mattress and foundation for many years and didn't think twice about revisiting the Berkeley showroom for our new replacement.
We appreciate that they are a small local, environmentally concerned company employing folks who create each mattress from scratch in their Richmond manufacturing site.
At the showroom we were expertly advised by Katrina about models that would fit our needs and after laying on several alternatives chose one to be delivered.
About 60 days after delivery we called Katrina to say that it did not satisfy us and supplied

We have had a European Sleep Works mattress for over a year and it has been fantastic! Our old mattress left me creaky and stiff when I woke up in the morning but ever since I made this purchase I've had no more aches in the morning. It doesn't sag or get lumpy. It's tough to sleep on anything else now! You also don't have to worry about breathing in whatever the heck a lot of other mattresses "off gas" because the materials are high quality and natural. I love it and highly recommend.

We splurged on a queen mattress just two years ago at the recommendation of my husband's chiropractor. The bed has been very comfortable, however, it has developed a mildew/mold problem and has started making us sick. We live in a foggy neighborhood in San Francisco where moisture is an ongoing battle, but we have never had a problem with a mattress getting mildew/mold before. Simply the best bedding store in the Bay Area! We bought our current very comfortable & green Cal King mattress here 3 years ago, along with a solid cherry wood dresser for Teresa. Stopped in over Thanksgiving to pick up a flat but supportive pillow for Tess, and they had exactly what she wanted, and helped her choose the correct firmness. The in-store assistance is always spectacular, and the products are excellent!
