TideLife Vacation Rentals opened for business in April of 2014. As a property management company focused on Vacation Rentals for the South Carolina coast, it is our vision to meet the goals of owners and delight guests that visit our area. It's just that simple. As the Owner, Suzanne is committed to partnering with homeowners to provide excellent customer service to their guests while maintaining their investment.

Pawleys Island, located on the southern end of The Grand Strand, is one of the oldest resort areas on the Atlantic Coast. The island lies off of the Waccamaw Neck, a long, narrow peninsula between the ocean and the river. At the southern tip of Pawleys Island there's a public beach access area and close by is the popular resort, Litchfield Beach.

Terrible Customer Service - they confirmed our booking, took payment, and then cancelled after the fact because they only do week long stays. Suzanne is listed as a “Premier Host” but is absolutely no help. They have false advertising on the VRBO website as they clearly state the minimum stay is 2 nights, but in the house description shows week long. You are then able to book the house for 4 nights and it wasn’t until after us booking flights that they caught this discrepancy and cancelled our trip.
Highly advise dealing with a different property management company.

They threatened to cancel our reservation if we didn't book more nights. We declined and she cancelled. This was a couple weeks after booking, paying and getting a confirmation. Similar to other reviewers here and on VRBO, I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND this company. They have been rude, difficult, arrogant and tbh, the person I've been dealing with is *NOT* smart. They're crooks and scammers. Should be kicked off VRBO.

My family goes to Pawleys island every year, we have been taking this vacation for 7 years. This year was the first year we have rented from Tidelife and it will be the last time. The rental house was very outdated which we knew from the previous reviews. What we didn't know was how dirty the rental would be. There was stains on the toilets , roaches we actually encountered multiple throughout our stay some as large as my big toe 🤢. The bathrooms were so dirty with cracked tile and black grout we didn't even feel clean after showering. We contacted tidelife after our stay with photos of all

Superb rental agency. Prior to our arrival on Pawleys Island, Emma was very responsive to our questions regarding our rental unit. Upon our arrival she greeted us warmly and provided our rental packet, complete with keys, pool passes, local park pass, and maps. They were very well organized and efficient in sending us on our way with everything we needed.

We have rented from other local rental companies but never had the positive experience we had with Tidelife. Suzanne and the staff were wonderful, accommodating and kind. The house was lovely and we appreciate extra things like plenty of towels. The VayK Gear was wonderful too! I highly recommend Tidelife and will definitely use them again.
