My team and I strongly believe there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to designing a look for clients. We consider all things including your features, personal style, the dress(es), and the venue when it comes to figuring out what look will be best for you.
That said, we do have a couple of standards to our approach: (1) your makeup should bring your best features forward (2) your skin should look healthy, youthful, and photographed nicely in most lighting conditions, (3) your final look is something that will always be in style.We like to express beauty in a modern & romantic way but also effortlessly elegant.

Finally getting around to writing this long overdue review! I got married back in June and hired Aimee for my wedding. Initially, I thought she was too expensive for me but then I realized that the Bay Area is just expensive for everything haha. In the end, the care and thoughtfulness Aimee put into my wedding day was so worth the price.

I found Aimee through a combination of social media and recommendation from an old colleague. Her prices, while on the higher end, were still within reason and competitive with the rates I received from other vendors. Since hair and makeup plays such a big role on the wedding day, we felt that this would be well worth it given Aimee's body of work, and the fact that we would be booking the team for myself, my bridesmaids, and our Moms.

Aimee Lam is an artist that truly enjoys her craft. I was lucky enough to have Aimee do my wedding makeup and hair for myself, my mother, sister, and mother in law in December 2018. Aimee is amazing. Aimee was my wedding hair and makeup artist and she did such a wonderful job. It's often hard to find a good makeup artist who is also good at hair or vice versa. Aimee excels at both. She's so skilled that my friends who are getting married soon asked me who did my hair and makeup and my guy friends told me I looked like a princess. So far Aimee has done my trial hair and makeup and I'm loving it. I did it the same day that I got my engagement photos. I look forward to seeing more of her excellent work on my wedding day!

I wish I could have Aimee glam me up every day!!! Aimee did my hair and makeup on my wedding day and I am so glad that I trusted her to do the job! I was very nervous about entrusting my face and hair to someone on what should be the most important day of your life but once I met Aimee and had my trial with her, I calmed down instantly.

I engaged with a handful of different makeup artists for my two wedding celebrations and Aimee was, by far, my absolute favorite. She's really fun, sweet, friendly, professional, and personable. She's not just a makeup/hair artist but a passionate one and her work truly speaks volumes to that. Aimee works magic and leaves you with nothing short of stunning. I did not have the patience to look for and/or book trials to find someone really good. I normally don't wear a lot of makeup or do my hair. I went with Aimee after hearing about her work from a few friends. She was my personal splurge for the wedding once I got my priorities straight and realized if there was a place to spend, hair and makeup was at the top of my list. She was sweet, professional, and very easy to work with.

I love Aimee!! She's so sweet and talented! I learned about her after reading a wedding magazine that featured her as a make-up artist. I fell in love with her work because she's able to make a bride look glamorous yet natural. She's very approachable, professional, and responsive.

I got married the past weekend and could not be happier with Aimee.
Aimee was so sweet and so talented. She is detail- oriented and very organized. She kept her station very clean and was really professional at all times.
On top of all these great qualities, Aimee is absolutely amazing. I'm not used to wearing makeup and Aimee really made me feel comfortable all day long while all my guests complimented how great I looked yet true to myself. Quick update: I could not had been happier with Aimee's service on the day of. She did a even more fantastic job on the day of than the trial. She had my hair done exactly the way I wanted and even better than any of the pictures I have shown her. Everyone was commenting on my look on the day of- royal and elegant! The make-up was just to true and natural, yet glamorous! I felt that is has brought the best out of me. The make-up was also long lasting. Aimee Lam does it again. And again and again. Aimee did such an amazing job with my hair and makeup for my wedding, it only made sense that I return to whom I trust for my Encore Session AND boudoir session.
My hubby and I decided to do an Encore session since I was recovering from a fractured ankle on our actual wedding day. I wasn't very mobile so we didn't have many couple portraits with the natural backdrop of rolling hills and trees that I so wanted. I gave Aimee barely any direction except for the general look I was going for, what I was wearing and where the shoot was going

I've known Aimee for about 5 years now and she has always been my go-to makeup artist. She is a phenomenal hairstylist as well. We've done numerous events and photo shoots together and I'm always blown away by her artistry. I wish she was my roommate so she could do my hair and makeup every day!
