Services
Blue Sky Meditation is dedicated to making Mindfulness and Meditation accessible for all who need less stress and more ease and joy in everyday life. We draw on years of ancient wisdom, neuroscience, modern psychology and evidence-based tools in understanding ourselves and shifting our way of living this human life.
Theresa works privately with clients to bring mindfulness and meditation into their daily lives. When this happens a connection with themselves emerges that is a pathway to realizing all that they are. She helps give perspective to one's daily experience within a larger framework that will help clients live more compassionately with themselves and within their relationships.
You've made it through the 8 week course and you want to sustain what you've learned. We learn in the 8 week course how valuable our insights and the insights of others can inspire and support us in our everyday lives. Once the course is over, its natural to feel a dip in motivation. Its important to not feel alone in sustaining a practice.
Join me for this walk/hike that will inspire you to "wake" up to all that that is here for us in the present moment, in nature--to restore, to heal, to experience all that we are! There will be moments of guidance, silence and community. What to bring: must have sneakers with traction or hiking shoes, rain jacket if weather is "iffy."
Why is it so hard for us to allow life's simple pleasures, and positive experiences to feed us and increase our happiness? Because our survival instincts are always scanning for the negative in order to keep us safe. And science tells us, it has a name, it's our "negativity bias." How many times have you said to yourself, "now stop being so negative, stop worrying."

I completed an 8 week session and it was an outstanding experience. Theresa the facilitator was excellent and helped each student reach their established goals. She was a great instructor with a direct and gentle manner. This course helped me tremendously and the benefits of mindfulness is with me daily.

Blue Sky Meditation has changed my life. The invitation to join Theresa (a certified teacher in MBSR) at her new studio space for a beginner course in Mindfulness & Meditation came just at the right time. The 2 hours I spent each week, meditating with peers and learning the lessons of Jon Kabat-Zinn and others was a gift. The home practice suggestions were immensely helpful in establishing a personal practice that is just right for me. We were even given a workbook to help guide our learning (a resource I will refer to again and again). I will be returning to practice with Theresa at Blue
