Eliminating the restraints of a traditional office increases scheduling flexibility and decreases costs. This allows for savings to be passed along to the patient, as well as at home service that is truly centered on patient.
The Visiting Audiologists use state of the art equipment to perform at home hearing testing, hearing aid consultations and hearing aid fittings. For your convenience, our in-home service is available for the following areas in Westchester County and New York City. A convenient doctor visit at home where we check your ears for wax, then conduct a comprehensive hearing exam.

Services
Dr. James Rubas started The Visiting Audiologists of Westchester in 2013. He received his Bachelors of Science degree from SUNY Cortland and his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Rubas holds licensure in New York State as an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is board certified by the American Board of Audiology.

They got back to me right away after my initial inquiry. Set up a visit for elderly parent with hearing aids that needed attention. Dr. Rubas was well liked and made helpful corrections and suggestions. Because the weather was ok and the neighborhood was quiet, he was able to work outside--much appreciated in these Covid19 times. I highly recommend The Visiting Audiologists.

Working with The Visiting Audiologists was a great experience. Dr. Rubas was able to provide a comprehensive hearing exam on my elderly aunt from the convenience of her home, and make the necessary assessments to provide the appropriate hearing aids.
