We walked in to this old-style family restaurant (not the new kind made up to look old) and were greeted warmly right away.
No shortage of help here. Everyone was working together to keep the place running.
Coffee was great ~ perfectly hot and not bitter. Anyone walking by would refill us.
Great selection of menu choices for breakfast ( served… all day as we read on their website). Bacon cooked perfectly. I asked for over medium eggs and that's eggsactly what I got. Husband ordered a 3-egg omelet and they must have used small eggs 😏. It was fine though as he ate the rest of my biscuits

Decently priced local diner. Biscuits were delicious. French toast was a bit soggy. But we all enjoyed our breakfast there, and especially happy with our waitress who advised us not to get more than one hot cake for the kids each Bc they're rather large.
The only thing was social distancing. Seated back to back with other tables.... so for those who do not feel comfortable in these environments, this might be something to consider.

I ordered to go and the packaging of the bread would have not been my first choice. The western omelet was really good. The vegetable one, the veggies were sliced big and I was just not a fan. I think it needed a different cheese too. It was ok just flavor was missing. The to go back did not have forks so that was disappointing.

From the parking lot this looks like the place to be. Once inside we were seated. The section of the restaurant we were seated in was warm and crowded. There was no Social distancing being enforced in terms of tables. There was a table seated directly behind us and the guest chose to sit with their chair turned towards our table leaving them practically breathing on my neck. Every cough made was more and more disgusting.

Absolute trashy wait an hour an a half on my food then my drink isn't even there i call them a pissed off dude answers tells me i didn't wait an hour and it's my Uber's fault like he's 10. I even call back after he hangs up on me and i said i need the guys name that i was just on the phone with and she says no guys work there. Do not order from trash employees waited forever wanted to know why i couldn't receive my drink. Is that hard? Trash food went in the trash like their employees! Pic below shows they kept needing more time and then i didn't get my order

Tenders and Curly fries. Very good. Three large tenders that where Nicky breaded and perfectly cooked. Tender and juicy. My only issue was that I would have loved a buffalo style sauce to dip it. They did have a spicy bbq sauce that was decent.
Everyone there was friendly and made ya feel like a regular. We will be back for the burgers looked yummy.

This is one of those old school mom and pop restaurants. The clientele on our visit skewed a bit older, but it was obvious a lot of these people had been coming hear a long time.
We did two lunches and a breakfast. All were delish. But the lunch fare seemed to win out- slightly- in overall taste. The corn bread pancakes are definitely worth trying. Although a lot of the food seemed pre-packaged, the flavors were spot on and harkened back to some home cooked childhood favorites.
Often these types of places are hit or miss. This was definitely a hit. It's not fancy, but service was fast
