Stratum Fitness offers a variety of programs adaptable for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Our classes are led by fitness professionals who have your best interests at heart. Personal training is the best training solution for anyone who has highly specific goals or needs. If you're also someone that prefers one to one athlete to coach ratio with highly flexible scheduling.
The trial is the first important step towards beginning your new fitness journey. We have found that having someone take their trial class allows them to work with our coaches, experience our gym community, and most importantly give us the opportunity to learn what their health and fitness goals are.

The trainers/coaches use functional fitness exercises to train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports. For example, a squat is a functional exercise because it trains the muscles used when you rise up and down from a chair or pick up low objects. You will appreciate these functional movements and your body will move better!

I’ve lived and trained all over the nation and world, and Stratum is one of the happiest gyms w/the smartest/most interesting/most effective programming I’ve ever seen. Eric and Joe are running something very special. It’s basically CrossFit except with nothing that will injure you and everything that will get you in amazing shape. My only hesitation in writing this review is only that I don’t want the secret out.

I love everything about my experience at Stratum! I've tried gyms closer to my house, that were easier or a shorter workout, but Stratum truly is the best gym experience out there. There's such great energy at Stratum, I never have to force myself to go to the gym, I actually WANT to go. The owners put so much thought into programming their workouts and after going through COVID where there was a short time I was programming my own home workouts, I have an immense appreciation for the thoughtful programming they put together every single day. Hands down the best gym in North County! All the workouts are designed in a group class format and consist of circuits with exercises that focus on strength, agility, speed and flexibility. The group classes make it so you have constant encouragement and motivation and the coaches are always there to monitor and guide you as you go. Safety and proper technique are a priority with all the coaches, they are incredibly knowledgeable and will scale anything up or down based on your ability or injuries. I was lucky to find Stratum 6 years ago. Work, kids, life were taking a toll on my posture, strength, and my health in general. Being active in sports most my life I knew that I needed something to help me get fit again. I couldn't have imagined a better environment than what I found at Stratum. Love this place! Stratum is truly my home away from home. I really loved everything about this gym. They're located around the corner from my office up in Solana Beach, so I tried a week of classes. From the minute I walked in there, every person was SO FRIENDLY. I loved how everyone would cheer each other on, and even the people from the 4:30 class were cheering those from the 5:30 class on their way out. What a great environment. The coaches were great too, spent a lot of time giving personalized advice on form etc. I was only there for a week, but could tell if I stuck around I'd be getting stronger real fast. Did my first drop-in for CrossFit at CrossFit Society and had a great time. Mike, who was coaching that day, was great about pointing out issues on my form and what I needed to adjust for the various exercises we did. Mike provided me with the right amount of coaching and then gave me some space to figure it out before coming around to check on me again (and patiently correcting me if I needed it). The fun part of doing a drop-in at a different box is the fact that you can experience different programming and this was definitely the case because there were several movements I had not yet encountered

I live in Seattle, but recently dropped in here twice. Looks like it's the only Crossfit affiliate in Solana Beach. I met Eric and Blake, and they both were very nice and made me feel right at home. In fact, this is the best away from home box experience I've had.

Eric and Blake are very professional. I appreciate the level of attention they paid to everyone's form--making sure everyone was moving safely and having a good time too.

I've been doing Crossfit for 3 years and recently had to choose a new box in North County. I chose Crossfit Society because of the coaches knowledge in exercise physiology. I felt as though I would get more personalized coaching as opposed to being one of many like a lot of boxes. Most classes have two coaches there to monitor, motivate and make sure you are doing things right.

Weather your a beginner or been doing Crossfit for years Crossfit Society will help you achieve your desired goals.

I've played sports all my life, so I love a good challenge and butt-kicking. After college sports, I tried to challenge myself with 1/2 marathons and 24hr fitness workouts, but I struggled to change up my workouts. Then I heard about CrossFit...

Eric, Blake, and Stephan made the CrossFit Society atmosphere, training support, and physical challenge exactly what I was looking for. As a beginner 4 months ago, I had so many questions, and these guys were patient teachers, giving me the attention and support I needed to be successful and reach my goals. This place rocks. Crossfit Society is awesome because the owners/instructors Blake, Eric and Stefan are all round good guys who also really know their sport.

If you've ever wondered if crossfit is for you, and if you can do it safely, you need to check this place out. The guys will train you hard and get you fit, but their small class sizes and attention to individual needs means you'll train at a level appropriate for your fitness level and goals. No one-size fits all program here. They teach proper form, and they're 100% up-to-date on the current art and science of fitness. This

CrossFit Society has absolutely changed my life for the better, and I don't know how I ever worked out anywhere else.

The coaches and programming at CFS are top notch, and the improvements in all of the members are living proof. The coaches don't just throw together daily WOD's in a vacuum like some other boxes do. They put tons of thought into each workout, how it may affect the next day's or next week's WOD's, how it improves specific aspects of fitness, and how it fits holistically into a complete training regimen. Blake, Eric, and Stefan are all extremely knowledgable

For about a year I had heard about "CrossFit" but was too intimidated to try it. So, what did I do? Joined a bootcamp. That worked out well for a while but I didn't really notice any strength changes, I was just staying busy for an hour 3x a week. It was good but wasn't enough. Then I got lucky and found CFS! They're amazing :) not only do you get as close to personal training as it comes but you meet amazing people and make amazing friends! It's not just about working out, it's about maintaining a healthy lifestyle in a fun way. Believe me, you will be surprised

I was one of those people that had heard of Crossfit long before I got started. I had even tried it a couple of times with friends/family and just never got around to pulling the trigger. Why? Part intimidation, part reluctance to pay more than I was paying at 24 Hr Fitness. Then I sat down and figured out that the money spent at CFS was actually less than what I was paying monthly at 24 hr with a trainer session once a week. To top it off, the [daily!] personal attention I get at CFS was far more involved than at any other gym. And top it off with unique DAILY programming, I haven't done
