Life is full of "shoulds." Family, friends, and society often have a very clear idea of the path we're supposed to be on, but peace and empowerment lie in finding your own path- worrying less about the expectations of others and more about what you want from life. Taking an alternative path or changing route along the way is difficult.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have been working in the mental heaIth field since 2008. I completed graduate training and received a Masters Degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I began my career working in residential and community mental health settings where I gained experience working with individuals seeking relief from anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder.
As a bicultural and bilingual (English & Spanish) therapist, my goal is to provide a non-judgmental safe space for individuals to build a supportive, trusting, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I am committed to encouraging my clients ability to stand in their own authenticity, empower themselves, and enable personal growth.
I have experience working with teens and adults experiencing severe anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and eating disorders in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. I have also worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and those healing from traumatic experiences.

Andie was a terrible counselor, I would definitely not recommend her for any kind of relationship help, she was unprofessional and ill-equipped. She failed to be upfront with us about her therapeutic techniques and saw us for months, in the end it felt like she did it for the money. We are much happier now that we no longer see her.

I was skeptical to try out therapy in the beginning, I wasn't sure how it would fit into my life or if I could actually make proper use of it.
I started seeing Andie about six months ago, and I can honestly say it's been an incredibly positive experience. Working with her has been invaluable to my personal growth, and I look forward to our meetings every month.
She's been super flexible with appointments fitting me in for emergency appointments as needed. I couldn't recommend Andie enough for anyone looking for a psychotherapist.

I have been visiting Andie for about 6 months now and I am so happy I found her. I even followed her up to this new location from her precious spot in the West Loop. Searching for a therapist can be a daunting and emotional journey but I feel lucky to have found Andie. Supportive, helpful, and insightful are all words I would use to describe Andie and her practice. Highly recommend!
