Imagination is more important than knowledge, for while knowledge points to all there is, imagination points to all there will be. I used to draw like Raphael, but it has taken me a lifetime to learn to draw like children. With over 60 years of combined experience in early childcare, our teachers understand that every child is special and are able to provide the tailored attention and care he/she needs.

KIN provides quality, professional, developmentally appropriate care for children in a secure and inviting setting. We are open year round 7:30 AM until 5:30 PM, and are conveniently located in West Durham. KIN was founded in 1983 by three women business owners on Ninth Street. KIN is a 501(3)c non profit organization and the official name is Ninth Street KIN Inc.
