Current Tenant Information, lease(s), inspection(s), application(s), and we reach out to the Tenant to give them a courtesy update, then schedule a preliminary walk through with them. We coordinate picking up all documents, checks, keys/FOBS/remotes, etc. from your current property manager. It's just that easy!.
Distinctive Property Management provides true value-added high-quality service to all of our clients. Gather data on rental rates in the area and work with owners to determine the optimal rental rate. Think of tenant screening as the moat and draw bridge around your castle. It is certainly possible to get a bad tenant out of your home once they are in, but it's a real hassle and you are so much better off never accepting them in the first place.
Many of our clients over the years have asked us how they can obtain the highest rents from their income properties. Often times, increasing your return on investment (ROI) while attracting higher quality tenants can be achieved by taking just a few relatively inexpensive steps. If you have a rental home in Washington DC, the Government of the District of Columbia, Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, requires registration and licensing services for business. Without this license, you can not rent out your home. All DC businesses must be properly licensed so 'Skip the Trip' and apply online.
