Our entire family has been with Geneva Eye Clinic for over 30+ years. I love Dr. Kevin King. We have had the very best and most compassionate care through this eye clinic. People ask why we don't go to the Wheaton Eye Clinic since we live in Wheaton. Knowing WEC is outstanding, I wonder why I would go the WEC when I have the best doctor care available to me at Geneva Eye Clinic with Dr. King & crew. I know a drive to Geneva seems like a trip, but it's really a matter of minutes and an easy trip to make, especially when you know you will receive the very BEST care.

I have been a long time patient at this Clinic and a Patient of Dr. Hawkins. She is by far the best Dr I have ever seen for ophthalmology. She is so smart and wants to genuinely help her patients. The staff is amazing and very helpful. You can tell they are well trained and care about the people that walk into the clinic. I was treated very poorly by the staff. I had and eye exam (billed incorrectly), and purchased relatively expensive glasses. Long wait to get back in to pick them up. I left the office feeling like the fit was not good, but was told just to try them and come back if they need adjusting. I said at the time that it was always a long wait to get back in, but left anyway not feeling great about it. Sure enough they need adjustment and I can't get in for 4 more days. I explained that we just moved into the area and were looking for eye care for three family members. I had insurance that they said was in network. I have been going to optometrists for over 50 years. NEVER have I ever been so rudely and dismissively treated by any optometry office as I was by WENDY at Geneva Eye Clinic. She made setting up a routine check up like trying to get into the land of Oz! Who knows what kind of service this place has, never got that far--but any company that trains their receptionist to screen as rudely as "WENDY" is probably not the kind of company you want

My wife and I both go to dr Becker never had a problem. Doctors do get busy and emergencies happen.
If the staff isn't keeping you informed that's on them and the Doctor should be told.
If there is a customer service problem then the Doctors need to address it, as this seems to be a theme in all the complaints.

I see Dr. King, and I can't say enough about how wonderful I have been treated by the both him and the stadd at this facility. I have had several eye issues stemming from strokes I had a few years ago, as well as diabetes and I have always felt that I was getting top notch care here! I've never had any issues with the staff or billing.

Please note: I have amended/updated my original review below, as after another inquiry I was able to book an appointment on August 4th, and my insurance plan now seems to be accepted again. I commend them for being so kind, apologetic, and telling me "changes have been made." From what I was told, Dr. King was none too happy when he was personally informed that a long-time client was basically turned away at the door on the date of their appointment - willing to pay cash.

Where do I even begin? This was by far the worst experience I have had at an eye appointment. I am at a high risk for glaucoma and need to have a medical eye exam frequently, but our insurance changed and so did all of my doctors. This was the clinic that was recommended to me by primary. The two people who were helpful were the receptionist at the front desk and the optician who had to hunt down the prescription that the tech failed to pass along to her.
