Blanton is a Master ASE certified mechanic with an L-1 engine specialist certification. He has spent decades in the auto industry, serving in almost every aspect of the business. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in business administration and finance from Sullivan University. In 2011, he founded Barebones Auto Repair LLC because he saw a need for quality auto maintenance and repairs at a "barebones" price.

I was sent to Barebones because they were covered under my MaxCare warranty. They completed the repairs, but they did not properly connect a sensor. The sensor caused my ABS, Emergency break, and check engine light to come on (the very next day which was after 5 on a Friday). The steering was tightened and hard to drive. They were closed that weekend so I had to take my vehicle to another shop to have this repaired and pay out of pocket for their mistake. I had already missed work for a week due to them taking so long to complete the repairs, so I needed to have this fixed by Monday. When I spoke

Well at first l thought they would fix everything right, now lam not so sure. I was promised by the manager that after they worked on my air conditioner. That if there were any problems within two weeks or a month to bring my car back and it would be fixed at no cost. So l took it back because it wasn't getting cold ac and when l did they tried to charge me way more and l told them that l was told there wouldn't be any charge. I should not have to pay way more than l did the first time for them to fix something because it wasn't fixed the first time.

Barebones Auto has an excellent reputation and for a good reason. When I had concerns about my oil change situation, I was given a very in depth explanation about how the oil works in the car and what it means for me to have a certain type of oil. It wasn't like I was being talked down to either, but it was explained in a way to help me down the road understand my vehicle better. This was incredibly valuable to me. I would highly recommend taking your car to this business for servicing. Also, the lobby is very comfortable and has nice ameneties. The people are honest, kind, and very helpful. God

Even though the I had to wait for a part, Barebones staff was professional and nice. They kept me informed and as soon as the part walked through the door, I was prioritized and out in 5 minutes. I have never dealt with a shop as upfront and trustworthy as Barebones. My family and friends and anyone that will listen needs a professional shop like Barebones, but their is only 1, until July 6. Then there will be two, 1 in Denton and the new one opening in Krum. 😁👍
