Nice park. Owners are Super. He let's me know when any packages come in and responds quickly to any questions or concerns that arise. They are reasonably priced. They are still in construction stages but it only on mostly the outskirts areas. All spots are paved and very spacious. You will get become accustom to the howling coyotes and donkeys at night. And occasionally you hear a train. Highland Bayou Park is 0.5 mi. It's a really nice park for fishing and children to burn energy. I would recommend this place.

The price is great it's a nice quick stop and or nice long term job in area stay. The only thing they said they had a dog run. I was thinking they had a dog park with a fenced in area my bad. Personally I like this for overnight stays. It is not a destination but does not cost like one either. But there are signs that It could grow.

Did not get the spot I reserved. Although shown available on the web site, it was given to a Monthly rental. I was refunded the 25.00 reservation fee. Not as nice as it looks on line. Feels like they ran out of money to finish what would be a very nice place. Grounds around the place not kept up, lots of tall grass next to the pads.
The pads are huge and very well done.
Wifi is very slow, but 5G is strong there. Lots of live in or long term people there.
Didn't spend much time there each day, but friendly people staying there.
I would go back, because it's close to the fishing spots I like

Gentleman working there was very nice. Was a little concerned at 1st as it doesn't look like a great vacation spot however my kids had an excellent time fishing in the Lake and there was a park very close which made this a lot more enjoyable. Also had concrete stalls so it was easier to level the RV. Each spot had its own Dumpsite so you did not have to pull in wait for many people to dump, you could dump in rinse all at the same time. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

My family and I love staying at this park everytime we go Houston area! It's nice, quite and close to visit our family and friends!! We've stay at Big State RV park numerous times now! Plus we enjoy the fishing we can do there! It's a great place to relax!!! This last visit we different, Mr H. I can't thank you enough!!! Thank you so very much for accommodating me at very important time of my life! Having to see and be with my Mom at her death bed is unforgettable!! I appreciate it and very grateful for what you've done for me!! God bless you and your family always!!! Thanks again. We love staying

Love the park. Has great potential. I workamp and have been to a lot of parks. Staff very accommodating. Only thing is the one, though it is pretty awesome, shower/restroom, is in the office building so not accessible after like 10pm or early. Hopefully they will add a separate shower building down the road with the same huge bathrooms and showers open 24/7 along with a laundry room, the one here is again only open office hours. Definitely will stay again

I have been full-timing here since August 2020 and this place is a great place to stay. Their website states they have many plans for this place and I'm very much looking forward to them! The grass is always well kept, I have seen them spray for mosquitos several times and the maintenance team is always very helpful! They have great level concrete pads that are large enough for almost any rig. My only complaint is sometimes when I use the washing machines here, they don't finish spinning and I have to hang my laundry for several days before I can wash them again. Hitesh, the owner, is always attentive
