Take a few minutes' ride from Bay RV Park to the Space City, Houston. We're among the top RV parks near Houston, TX, located in the recreational Houston Bay area between the city and Galveston, TX. Our park has the largest lots in the area. The many amenities include concrete sites, which are landscaped with trees and flowering plants.
Galveston and Galveston Bay together make up one of the largest boating and fishing areas in the United States. The options, as well as the attractions of the Bay Area, make this the ideal place for a relaxing fishing vacation. And Bay RV Park is nearby so you can enjoy RV Camping in the Bay Area while fishing to your heart's content.
The city is named after John Dickinson who received a land grant from the Mexican government in 1824 just north of the present location of the city of Dickinson. About 1850 a settlement was established along the shores of Dickinson Bayou. By 1850 Dickinson become a stop on the railroad. Dickinson had a post office in 1890 with the city's current name.
If you are visiting Texas City Dike and plan on staying there for a long time, an RV park may be the best place for you to stay. This man-made fishing pier is one of the longest in the world, and offers camping spots and access to tourist attractions. Perfect Location and Family Friendly
Bay RV Park was the perfect place for us to hang our hats on our recent RV holiday to Kemah in early January. The parking pads and hookups were great and we really enjoyed the convenient location to the boardwalk which had some really good family friendly restaurants. The kids *LOVED* visiting the amusement park and taking the train along the boardwalk (they are still talking about it 3 weeks later). Great location for a fishing holiday!
My son and I recently visited Bay RV Park for a father and son fishing trip. The location was handy to everything and the site had everything we needed with electricity, water and sewer hooked up. We spent lots of time out on the pier catching flounder and speckled trout. The managers at the park were really helpful and friendly, giving us some good recommendations of bait and what areas were best for the time of year for bites. Fantastic location and great value
We chose Bay RV Park because of the location to NASA which was only a 25-minute drive away. Our kids (aged 10 and 14) loved the NASA tour and we also visited the aquarium which was huge and a lot of fun! There’s heaps to see in the area with a family. We also explored nearby Galveston which is a great place to walk around and do some shopping, and took the kids to the Kemah boardwalk and amusement park which they loved. Large sites, nice landscaping and central location
My partner and I visited this park for a week during summer and had a really great stay. The sites were large and well landscaped, and the facilities were clean and comfortable. There were two convenience stores that we could walk to and having an on-site laundry meant we didn’t have to worry about doing a whole pile of washing as soon as we got home! This is a really great rv park - the nicest and best value one we could find in the area. The sites are spacious and offer full hook up with level cement pads. The park itself is really clean with all the amenities you need including laundry, bathrooms, outdoor picnic areas and plenty of grass between sites. The location is perfect in my opinion! This was our third visit to this RV park and it keeps getting better! The sites are big with plenty of space and there is lots of green areas and trees. The staff are really friendly and answered any questions we had about the park and also what to see and do in the area. The proximity to Galveston Island is fantastic, with lots of shopping and restaurant options. We’ve taken our kids (8 and 6) to the amusement park in Kemah every time we’ve visited and they love it. The view from the Ferris wheel of the bay is amazing!! There’s so much to do in the area and this park is really economical

We stayed here for three nights and found the park super clean. We looked up a few parks in the area before we arrived and this one was definitely the best value. The manager was really friendly, met us on arrival and recommended some great nearby restaurants for us to try. The oyster stew at Pier 6 was amazing! The location was perfect for us and the site was well set up for our RV. We booked a pull thru lot which had plenty of space. We enjoyed taking a walk at nearby Galveston doing some window shopping and my husband enjoyed doing some fishing off the pier. I’d definitely recommend staying

I stayed here with my family last month and my goodness did we have a wonderful time! The location is very close to the water and the site we were in was perfectly level and provided ample shade for our RV. The facilities were spick and span and the staff truly were the friendliest we have encountered in Texas! They are perfectly located right between Houston and Galveston and there are loads of nearby activities (I like fishing and space). We'll be back again next year Bay RV Park! (is it too early to make a reservation?)

This is our go-to RV park in the Galveston area! The park is spotless, and the facilities are excellent. They provide water/sewer hookups, restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. The location is great for me and my family and because there are so many fun things to do in the surrounding area. During our stay, the management was super friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!

This park has it all! The staff, Leda and Randy, are amazing and extremely helpful!! The rates are great! The park has a perfect mix of overnight guests, contract workers, and long-timers!! I have made some life-long friends here . It is halfway between Houston and Galveston, 12 miles to NASA, 7 miles from the Kemah Boardwalk, 3 blocks from the ocean and a few books in any direction from amazing food!! So, you will never get bored while staying here!! The park is nice and quiet with clean laundry and shower facilities. They also have a community room for events and free WiFi!! Come on down and

We recently spent six months at Bay RV park. The park is clean and well-maintained. The office is open seven days a week which is extremely convenient. The owner is courteous and responsive and cares about her customers. She make sure that the tenets maintain the sites they rent according to the rules but is also flexible to the needs of the long term RVers. There is no pool or recreational area but the rate is extremely reasonable.
