I do this through TRANSFORMATIONAL PHOTO SHOOTS AND coaching USING BREATHWORK, RITUALS, embodiment practices AND PUSSY MAGICK. I grew up in South Carolina with a stay-at-home mom who was a former singer, dancer, and showgirl and an entrepreneur father who was an avid amateur photographer. When I look back at my parents, I realise I truly was never destined to have a "normal" job, but lord knows I tried.

Master of her craft! Laura has the incredible ability to bring out your most natural, radiant and genuine inner lioness on camera. I did my very first photo shoot with Laura in 2015. Nervous I walked in for my boudoir shoot not knowing how to “pose.” I walked out of there a million times more confident, knowing exactly how to “work the camera” but also feeling proud of my body.
We have since continued to work together for headshots and most recently my maternity shoot. There is a reason why I will always work with Laura and nobody else!

She is one of the most consistent, organized, creative photographers I’ve ever worked with. Colleagues and friends that have used her all feel the same way. I have to agree with some of the disppointed reviews here. I was not smart enough to seek out a coupon and paid full price, which,in hindsight for my experience was crazy. I was really nervous and felt rushed and as though I annoyed her from the get go. While the makeup person was kind and offered me assistance throughout, I actually felt judged as as though Laura just didnt like me. At one point, the makeup girl helped straighten my thigh highs bc the backs were "all twisted" and she didnt want it to look bad. laura did not pay this attention to detail and again seemed annoyed that

I had a GREAT experience with Laura. She was very, very professional and made me feel so comfortable. The 'dream closest' had so much to choose from, and she had so many shoes and accessories available for use. For the photo shoot we discussed the best background options and then she told me exactly which poses to do, which made it really easy. The hair and make up person were excellent as well. Highly recommend Laura!

The entire experience is amazing - it goes so quickly as Laura expertly guides you through poses and looks, making even the most awkward and clunky person feel like a supermodel! You don't need to bare skin to have a sexy shoot, but you will have amazing photos either way! And that dream closet? HELLO!

Laura Boyd and the entire session was one of the most empowering experiences I’ve ever had. Turning 30 and being a single mom, both Laura and Zuleika (makeup &hair artist) made me feel beautiful.

I was looking for a last minute deal for family photos before the year was out and happened to see a post from Lura about a slot opening up. So on a whim I contacted her and scheduled a session. WOW! is all I can say. She did an awesome job capturing photos of my family. She was very professional and easy to work with. She did a great job in getting my 2 yr old to open up to her.
On top of her ability with the camera, she was very timely. Normally in the past when we have taken photos it would be weeks before we got them back. Not Christine, we had our photos within the week.

This is honestly one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I can't recommend it highly enough! Laura is warm, kind, efficient, professional, and an extremely talented artist. She doesn't *just* provide sexy boudoir photos, she provides a powerful series of photographs that truly capture the depth, strength, vulnerability and passion of women.
Zue is a fantastic makeup and hair artist. One of the best. You can also hire her for weddings and makeup tutorials.

I had absolutely the best time at my shoot yesterday!!! From the time I booked until the day of the shoot, Laura and her administrative assistant Emily were extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and concerns. My emails received prompt responses (there were a lot of them)

This was by far, the best thing I have EVER done! The experience is something I will never forget! I am doing this as a surprise for my fiancé and giving him the book the night before our wedding! Laura is incredible and coaches you through ever step and pose! She is so talented. I initially thought I wouldn't use anything from the closet but when I walked in, it was like every girls dream! I just had to borrow at least one piece! I also got my hair and makeup done which I highly recommend. Overall this was one of the best things I could have done for myself, my confidence has literally sky rocketed

I had a wonderful experience shooting with Laura yesterday. I'm not usually someone who loves pictures, but her warm encouragement and expert instructions made for an awesome experience and amazing pictures! Like others, I purchased a gilt city voucher not really knowing what to expect, but walking away from my photo session last week, I am blown away and more than impressed.
I had 3 sets, 4 outfits. I brought my own outfits, shoes and jewelry, however, the 'dream closet' is exactly how it sounds in case you are missing something.
Zuleika did my hair and makeup, I asked for something different than I usually do (which is black winged eye and red lips) so we went for a dark smokey eye and pink lips. She did a great job on my hair and makeup. I even had drinks with friends later that day

I am a rather shy and prudent type of girl. I decided to do it because there was a Gilt City deal and I thought it would be an amazing wedding gift for my soon to be hubby. Laura really thought of everything and sent you emails when you first sign up, one week before your shoot, and then one day before your shoot. If you want to have an incredible experience, Rue Boudoir is the place to go!! I really wanted to celebrate hitting a milestone birthday and thought this would be a great way to do. From the beginning, just off of Laura's website, I felt at ease about having my pictures done. I booked my session about a month in advance and was very glad to get in.
