Regular grooming is important because, not only does your pet look good, but it is also great preventative health care. We offer medicated baths for dermatological cases. Spaying or neutering your pet can decrease the risk of many diseases that can become very expensive to treat. Pets who have been spayed.
We took our Jackapoo, Lotti to Dr. Louka this morning. Dr. Louka and his staff, Tammy at the front desk were great! Dr. Louka was very kind and took time to explain Lotti's condition to us. The price for consultation and Xrays along with pain meds were reasonable. We even bumped into a friend at the waiting area who said that Dr. Louka was wonderful and that we chose the right Veterinarian!

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Louka since 2007, and I trust him because he has a good track record of diagnosis and treatment. He is very cost-conscious and never suggests the most expensive approach unless it's absolutely necessary. The staff members are friendly and professional, and they do a good job of keeping everything on track and punctual. They are very warm and caring.

Let me first say this facility has been here since our family dog Gypsy was alive in the 80s. Different staff of course. Last week we put our sweet Snuggles to sleep. I myself had not been established with this veterinarian but I am pleased to say we will be for 2nd rescue. It is the humble office it's always been. Clean, a very kind staff, affordable pricing and options for pricing plans if needed. They arranged our cremation as well affordably and presented her to us very sweetly with card and special personalization. I highly recommend their services.

This place is simply the best. I used to take my dog (15 year old miniature pinscher mix) to another vet in Downey consistently, but after a recommendation from a friend that I try this office, I have never turned back. As my dog has aged, he has needed more care and attention, and this office is always prompt with their service and EXTREMELY affordable. I feel truly fortunate to be able to go to this location for my dogs medical needs. Thank you Dr. Louka and staff for your continued dedication and hard work!

I love this place! The staff is professional and friendly but most important they treat their patients extremely well. Which is my main reason for bringing my boy here. I have a very anxious dog, which can get a little difficult with an 83lbs animal. Last time he came in for a couple shots (which he was super upset about), Tami (one of the vet techs) took the time to comfort him and make sure he felt comfortable at their office. You can't buy that quality.

First of all I would like to thank all the members of this animal hospital from the vet assistants to the veterinarian himself. From the first time I brought my dog in for rabies shots as a new customer Tammy made my experience quick, easy and without any hassle or extra charges for mandatory first visit examinations of my dog Snow.
