We advise exams twice annually for all patients as a lot can change in 6 months. During your exam, we will discuss vaccination protocols specific to your pet's.

We have a fully digital radiology (X-Ray) unit. This allows us to get a much more detailed image, much faster, with less x-ray radiation exposure to your pets. We perform ultrasounds in-house. All of our ultrasounds are either performed by a radiologist or are reviewed by a radiologist. Ultrasounds are a non-invasive way to look at internal structures.

I’m so glad I found OC Vet for my Eevie. I’ve been taking her here since she was a 6-week old puppy, and she’s always in good hands. She got spayed here and healed fairly quickly. For all other issues (mostly infections), they were able to detect it quickly and prescribe effective medication. They are a tad expensive for office visits, but it’s worth paying extra to know she is in good hands. Plus she absolutely loves Dr. Horn and Dr. Nikki!

Dr. Nikki and the staff at OC Veterinary Medical Center are simply amazing! They are so kind, gentle and gracious. Dr. Nikki speaks to you in a way that you understand and listens to your concerns. She is an angel to the pet community of Orange County. I will continue to keep my cat’s care at this place. I also recommend the boarding services - at least pre-COVID they were fantastic and send daily picture updates. They place the pets in units next to the aquarium - we jokingly refer to it as “Sea World”. You can trust this place with your furbabies!

First time here and my dog was seen very quickly! The staff was very very friendly, I’m glad I was able to meet them, with covid it’s hard for some places to be transparent about their staff/doctors and their offices of course, it’s understandable. But I am very glad that I was able to speak with Dr. Rodrigues! I very much recommended him, I felt like my dog was in great care, thank you so much!!

I love it here ! Took my baby snowball for his first exam , and they handle him with care and love , and after they gave him his vaccine a day later they called to check on him and see how’s he doing ! Love it will have this location as his primary ❤️ Dr rodrigues ! 💪

The receptionist was very pleasant, capable and quick. The reception room was clean, big fish tank also included. My appointment was on time. The assistant who took me to the exam room was kind pleasant. We waited just a few minutes for the doctor. Daniel Rodriguez DVM. He was completely nice, very knowledgeable. Since this was our first visit, he listened asked appropriate questions, And I feel completely comfortable with him.

We had been long time clients. however when our dog got really sick, they refused to give us permission to come in. we went to urgent care, had to go back to this place and was charged approx $1,000 for nothing (3 hours of nothing). I am livid. guess it's all about the money. I also don't feel like they care about the owners. beware. find a vet that has competent staff and cares

I have been taking my elderly cat to see Dr. Horn and Dr Nikki for many years and they have been so loving and have given her amazing care, and their staff as well. We are not sure of her exact age but we believe her to be about 25 years old. I'm sure it is due to the wonderful care at o.c. veterinary! Thank you!

Excellent vet, but hard to get an appointment when you need to. Called on a Monday morning as my dog was swollen under the eye. They were booked all week & could only offer a drop off the next day meaning she would be in a cage until they could get to her. My dog was abandoned & spent years in a cage. I would not do a drop off!

I am a repeat customer of 5+ years. Both of my cats love Dr. Horn and are always well behaved at OC Vet. I think it’s partially because their staff is so great and even better with the animals. I love this office and recommend it to everyone that lives in the area/ if needing a vet comes up.

First visit months back went well 2 nd visit for a checkup went horrible took in a 8lb chihuahua she came out in pain squeeking crying for days I took her to another vet i was told she has a strain . You show up drop off the dog they don’t allow you to be near due to Covid and they won’t release until you pay and they add more to your bill wich you… didn’t ask for . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS VET PLEASE DONT DROP YOUR PET HERE I had to make an appointment for an x-ray to see if there’s any broken bones DO NOT COME HERE THIS VET CHANGED FOR THE WORSE Will be looking into

I honestly can’t say enough good things about OC VMC. They have come to my rescue twice now with two different dogs. They are so easy to work with and honestly have a passion for animals.
