A long and proud history of performance reliability earned us a reputation of being "Capable People You Can Count On!" American Boiler & Mechanical was formed in 1973 by Harry Hemphill. When the company opened we were in a small shop in Fenton, MO with nothing more than a small office and a shop just big enough to park a utility truck.
As our company has grown, we have moved to accomodate our needs; once to a larger facility in Fenton, then to the historical area of St. Louis known as "The Hill." Our facility houses several offices and a 25,000 square foot shop on a 2 acre lot. In 1988 we began our expansion and opened a branch office in Kansas City, MO and in 1998 an office in Salina, KS. Between the three offices we are able to service several states.

We are with you every step of the way from start to operational implementation and follow-up. We will assist in the initial steps of planning and designing your boiler system and also provide 24/7 support if you need any boiler repairs or maintenance. American Boiler & Mechanical also has a range of rental boilers that are ready for immediate delivery.
American Boiler & Mechanical's team develops preliminary and final designs for boiler system piping, boiler system components, and master plans for new boiler plants. We realize each boiler room is unique and requires custom planning and designing. To achieve the proper boiler system design, the team must understand all of the application objectives, the limitations of the boiler room, and all applicable building and boiler room codes.
Is your boiler burning more fuel than is needed? Let American Boiler & Mechanical perform a Combustion Analysis on your equipment to ensure that you are getting the most out of your fuel expenses. A combustion analysis gathers information to determine how well fuel is being burned within the boiler.
Any boiler, with a few exceptions based on unique designs, can be retubed. American Boiler & Mechanical uses up to date tube attachment methods to seal the tubes to the tubes sheets and ensure long life of tubes and potential problematic tube end deterioration. At any time we stock up to 100,000 ft. of boiler tubing materials.
