I went there for a routine eye check up. Then they sent a claim with a medical diagnosis without informing Me as a patient. The office manager named Sylvia was very rude when I asked and tried to dispute this claim. She was very disrespectful in addressing my concern and when I told her that I spoke with premera insurance regarding this claim.. she told me that premera customer service are just high school graduates with low level of understanding regarding this claim.
Very disappointing and discriminating !

II had a very bad experience in this office for billing.
In 2020 I saw a doctor in that clinic and they accepted my insurance an no problem.
In 2021 I made appointment to see the doctor and there was no problem until I receive a bill for $175 instead if $17

I called the billing department and asked why and the said because no longer accept my insurance and I said why the office didn't tell me so I can go somewhere else and not to make appointment.
After I talked to office manager who was not polite and she didn't accept the fact it was their fault no to tell be they don't accept

Consistent with the other reviews, our experience was similar. Dr. Lenard made me feel extremely uncomfortable when I brought my 2-month old son in. Not only was he rough with him, he was mocking me and making me feel bad that I couldn't understand his belligerent mumbling. He also said my son had such bad sight, he will need glasses by 9-months and asked to bring him in then. I had doctors find this diagnoses completely false, (at two different eye centers!) My baby has perfect vision.

It is possible that an adult can have a good experience with him but PLEASE, I implore you, do not take

We never come back to see impolite and hostile Lenart ever again. He bullies kids and their parents. Probably need a therapy or education or if none of these works, a leash!

We originally started to go to this Dr's office per our pediatrician's referral, and it was ok until my girl became 5 yrs old. We had no problem when our kids were more like a baby or toddler who didn't have to communicate directly with the Dr. I don't know about his skill of being a doctor, but, he was definitely NOT KID's FRIENDLY for sure from my experience. He didn't introduce himself to kids, and just said "One of them need to come to sit on this exam chair." with absolutely no smile (I had both my two yrs old and 5 yrs old for their annual check up

Our entire family goes here and they do a great job. They work with each kids age and ability (small or big kids and adults.) They do a great job and we have several friends who also take their families here.

I went to Dr. Mantel for an exam for glasses and contacts, explaining that I need to stay under my deductible. As a follow up, they scheduled a 5 minute contact fitting. The latter was a surprise $160, but still under my deductible. We ordered contacts, where I explained to the gentleman that I need to stay under my deductible. He said they would check what it was before they ordered. When I went to pick up my contacts, I asked the attendant how much it would be, and she said no charge.

Imagine my surprise when I get a bill. The charge for the contacts and the charge for the fitting were in combination

Dr. Lenart was incredibly rude right off the bat. I brought my toddler in for an eye exam, and while waiting for the doctor, the exam room became very hot. I stepped into the hallway with my toddler and Dr. Lenart came over. He didn't introduce himself, instead he told us that we weren't allowed in the hallway. I told him we had stepped out due to the heat, and he told us that he didn't write the rules, HIPPA did. I mentioned the heat again and he said then he would just have to go to jail then. I was stunned. He started reading notes from our file, mumbling to himself, then

He spent five minutes with my child, dismissed us, and then lied on the paperwork saying my sweet son was uncooperative. Yet he didn't ask him anything. We went back to our pediatrician and asked them to stop referring patients to him entirely. We went on to another doctor who spent TWO HOURS with my child patiently playing games to get through every test (and he is an easy child) and got all the answers and actual CARE we needed unlike lying Lenart.

Worst doctor ever. Dr. Lenart was very impatient with my daughter. After putting an eye drop to my daughter's eyes. The doctor left and came back figured out that my daughter was in the restroom, he immediately said "oh my god" then walked away without saying anything. While we asked him to explain a term that he just mentioned, he said he's not going to explain it and have us to ask our own doctor. Keep yourself away from this doctor.

We were there by referral from our pediatrician. This place was not kid friendly at all. The front office didn't even acknowledge that we were there. The doctor was very aggressive and didn't have that positive attitude toward my child and I. I wanted to leave but since we were there already, we would be charge anyways so we just hung in there.

A couple weeks later we receive a bill saying we owe $360. My husband called and they said they have our VSP info on paper but did not add to to the system to bill out.

Ridiculous !

I would not come back nor referral this place.

We took our 5 years old to Redmond Eye Doctor that did a full eye exam with dilation. They recommended a different prescription and we followed their advice and ordered new glasses with them.

Our son did not like the glasses and after two weeks we took him to see an ophthalmologist somewhere else. She gave us the right prescription and showed us how our son reacted much better to different glasses (with the right prescription).

We then called Redmond Eye Doctor to ask for (at least) lens replacement. They insisted on us brining our son again for another test or pay for new lens.

Not kid friendly. Wouldn't recommend it. Period.
The office manager, Sylvia, is unprofessional in her tone and lacks the ability to relate. I thought it might be helpful to mention a few reasons we wouldn't be returning on our exit, being a business owner myself, I find this type of feedback helpful.
The doctor seemed very short on patience when my son couldn't follow what he was being asked to do, this is a "child and family" practice. The first words out of his mouth to my three year old were "don't touch that it could electrocute you and kill you. We don&apos

I can't believe the reviews are so low. Dr. Lenart is an incredible surgeon and the staff at Proliance surgical center were top notch. I am a complex case and Dr. Lenart did an incredible job. He is accessible after surgery for questions. He listened to my concerns before surgery which he took into account. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

I can't believe the idiots on this page complaining about one of the best eye doctors I've ever had, and I've had many. In fact, I was referred here from another eye doctor in Seattle who praised Dr. Lenart for being able to do what this doctor could not. He is THAT good.

I have found Dr. Lenart to be caring and considerate, and also on the cutting edge of research and technology. Also, I have issues with strabismus which Dr. Lenart has treated expertly, to where no one even realizes that I have suffered from this condition.

People here want to complain because they have trouble

Bad experience with this office. DO NOT recommend going to this office!
They are ridicously overpriced. They do not know how to work the insurance plans correctly and then try to charge the customer more. There are WAY too many other good eye doctors out there to have to deal with the hassle of a bill. I have gone to many other eye doctors
and have never had this kind of problem. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to them !

Nurses are thorough but Dr Thomas should not be working with children. It's scary for kids to go to the dr as it is. Nurse just put the drops in without much heads up but the dr was really the worst. Could have easily talked to my child but mumbled and was very brisk. I felt very uncomfortable asking questions. He said she has allergies. I asked do you see something in her eyes that indicates that. His response- "yeah, that's why I went to medical school". Would not recommend as a child's dr.

I drove for 30 min at this place and the front desk told me the doctor had a surgery at afternoon and cannot see my kid at morning. And they said they called me to reschedule the appointment a week ago at Nov 1and that's total lie.

First I didn't receive any call or message for reschedule the appointment.
Second, is this their responsibility to make sure the patient receive the right information?
Third, I still received a voice message two days ago to tell me to confirm the appointment, if they need to reschedule me for another time, why they send me a confirmation???

I was struggling with an infection in my eye since late on Friday. Sunday night I went to urgent care and they gave me medication and said see an eye doctor ASAP as I probably need a procedure.

My eye doctor is closed Mondays so I went to this place, the "children's eye doctor/family eye doctor" at 8am Monday thinking they'd either turn me away or if I was lucky I could get an appt to be seen by a doctor.

I was told to pay $45 copay, have a seat, and they'd squeeze me in but I may have a wait.

Two hours into the wait I asked them when it might be. No idea, they said

We've been long time customers. The last late notice came from a day we had an appointment with our surgeon to discuss post operation procedures for our daughter. And I am positive we did not double book an appointment.

I don't recall the appointment. To get around the hassle, we just paid the fee. But we are moving on as well. I mirror some of the sentiment about hassle with dealing with insurance and missing appointment fees.

Other practices have enacted simple policies such as email reminders or automated phone reminders.
