Uptown Eyes is fantastic! The level of care and service is unmatched in my experience. I see Dr. Baureis and she takes precious time to explain anything and everything she can. I have never felt rushed or like a bother in the slightest. Not always the case with other doctor offices. You can tell she genuinely cares about what she does. She takes time to connect on a human level, along with providing the most thorough exam I’ve ever had. My husband also goes to her and she corrected something for him that had never been picked up on before. He said it made a huge positive difference in his vision

Bre was fantastic, I would’ve never known she was new if she didn’t tell me! She was kind, personable and informed me of what each part of the exam/machine was used for just because I was interested! The recommendation from her to come to Uptown Eyes for my optometry appointment was very much appreciated, and needed! I have worn glasses for years, so i’ve seen many optometrists throughout the years, especially while living out of the state. Dr. Megan Baureis gave me the most comfortable, yet thorough eye exam I have ever had! She is extremely knowledgeable at what she does, and you can tell

AMAZING customer service at the front desk. They always treat you like a friend and work with you on anything you need. I have seen both Dr. Baureis and Dr. Anderson and they are both amazing at their job. They walk me through every step of the process, and make me feel very comfortable when visiting. Definitely would recommend uptown eyes to anyone looking for an optometrist!

Dr. Baureis was extremely kind and helpful. She made sure to explain everything to me to make sure I was understanding exactly what she was showing me. I was very pleased with her and the whole office staff. I will definitely be returning to this office and recommending them to friends and family! As a first time patient and for my first time needing glasses, they made the process so simple and easy!

I wish I could leave a good review, because the doctor was great, but she just cannot make up for the rudeness her front staff. They were consistently rude to me and my husband. There were issues with their understanding of our insurance from visit to visit, but worse than that were issues like being cut off mid-sentence, and the uncomfortable feeling you get when you're being treated so poorly for a service you are paying for. One small example: I asked them to adjust my little boy's frames because they were sliding off his face and was told they "already adjusted my son's glasses the last time

I have never had this great of an experience with previous eye doctors. Ever. And I’m not young. They explained everything in detail and literally had me fascinated with the whole process. Answered all questions I had and I actually enjoyed these ladies who had such a passion for what they do! Honestly thrilled with this group and enjoyed it!

Super clean office, check for temps at the door but are all super friendly and well staffed. Dr Baureis was very sweet and sweet informational about my exam and new prescription. Definitely would refer you or advise you to if you get an eye exam to try the optos digital eye exam. It was so unique and way better then getting the eye drops and a puff of air in your eye. Just sit let them take your pictures on both eyes then later you will get a 4d like 360 degree all around digital photo of your entire eye which was so cool!

I just had the best eye appointment of my entire life, hands down. Every single person I interacted with in that office was incredibly polite and respectful. EVERYTHING was explained to me, and not in a patronizing way either. It was extremely clear and helped me understand my eyes better. Conversations with each staff member were great, and I cannot say enough how great this appointment was.
Additionally, they are doing a GREAT job with making sure that the facility is and feels safe. I was nervous about going for an appointment while COVID cases are rising, especially around Fayetteville/campus

I have been wearing glasses/contacts for 8 years and never have a left excited as I was when I left Uptown Eyes today. Uptown Eyes is not where my optometrist practices, but due to some bad experiences I made the decision to take my glasses prescription to a different establishment and order glasses there. That “different establishment” just happened to be Uptown eyes. From the minute I walked in the door to the minute I walked out, I had the staffs undivided attention on helping me find what I wanted. These gals are great. They got me in on a Saturday which was a plus. I was a little skeptical when I first picked up my glasses because they were so different but after a couple days I discovered I can see better than I've been able to for a long time. The gal who helped me pick out the frames did great too because I've gotten lots of compliments. I recommend Uptown Eyes for friendly service and very good work on getting the lenses right.

I received terrible service at Uptown Eyes. I was given misinformation and bad advice on choosing frames by Donna Jones, and was later treated in a condescending and confrontational manner when I dared complain. Both Dr. Lawson and Donna Jones were inappropriate and publicly disrespectful of me and my medical privacy. Knowing full well I would never go back there after the way I was treated, Donna gave me a letter from Dr. Lawson firing me as her patient! Handing me this kind of letter was just mean and vindictive, with no intention but to hurt, and/or cover themselves as a VSP provider at

To get five stars from me, somebody has to be really good. Uptown Eyes is really really REALLY good.
I am very picky about my vision. The optometrist was excellent and very attentive. I was impressed with how carefully she examined my eyes and how hard she worked on identifying the right correction. More importantly, she diagnosed a condition in my eye that the optometrist at Lens Crafters missed, and wrote me a referral to a retinal specialist.
Even better, she really knew her stuff about lens technology and how to design progressives for me that match what I need and how I use glasses. Amazingly

I needed new contacts/glasses so took a shot with the new place in point fosdick. Making an appointment was painless, the person I spoke with was super friendly. The optometrist was awesome. She seemed very knowledgeable about the latest advances. Was totally surprised that she actually helped me find frames too. I've been wearing glasses for thirty four years and don't think I've had a dr do that. It's a lovely shop with cool frames and great people. Very happy! Can't wait to pick up my new glasses.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They suggested several cool frames that we wouldn't have tried, and all worked!
They have a good selection of stylish frames not available elsewhere in the area, although they are on the expensive side.
Had a small problem with the location of a progressive Rx, but their optometrist helped figure out that it was just the frame that needed tweaking.
