Nova Pointe Apartments

My daughter Felicia lives here and her apartment is nice for it being her first starter home.

Has over 900 apartments very confusing parking lot it's like a maze and the one bedroom apartments are really small for the amount of rent you're paying

I dont even live here yet
Noone ever answers the phone
Noone calls back
Noone responds to emails
I put a hold on an apartment in August 2021 for January 2022
The price went up almost $100 dollars with no notice
I dont even want to move here anymore just with these issues alone

I'm not a resident but I've tried previous times to get in contact with someone about leasing with them.. I feel extremely bad for ANY residents that lease with them. After a few visits with a friend who had recently moved there, I've witnessed a lot of VERY VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL situations with the office & management. I'm not sure how the City of Colton, the County of San Bernardino, or THE HOUSING AUTHORITIES are even allowing them to do business (at least under this particular management). I'm reporting them to BBB & seeking legal aid for uninhabitable living

Good place just don't like that there are a lot of water shut off and that the gates are always open to anyone and that there is ni security to watch over the place

Please check out every website and see the consistency of the negative reviews!! This place is as bad, if not worse, than we are telling you it is!!
The worst place I have ever lived!
Staff is truly awful, they are so rude and disrespectful. They act like they are doing me a favor by doing their jobs!! That's if I can get in touch with someone. They are condescending and expect you to understand their garbage, but refuse to accommodate or be understanding for anyone else's situations. I understand it is a business, but the "helpful hand" goes away almost immediately, upon move in!!

This is by far the worst rental experience I've been through so far. For being the first apartment I've lived in that says a lot. I lived here from September 2020 to August 2021. Moving out of this dump could not come sooner. I found these apartments on Facebook marketplace and I found the price very appealing. I thought to myself when I saw the photos "this place looks good for what it's worth" boy was I wrong. DO NOT BELIEVE THE PHOTOS. The apartment literally looks nothing like that in person. Horrible management they treat people any kind of way when I first moved in I had no issues until they switched management they always had issues with the water it was always shut off due to maintenance they took a long time to come and fix things they gave me a 60 day notice to vacate without calculating my income people had gotten killed up in there and wanting to commit suicide the place was not well kept up the gates were always broken always people breaking into cars helicopters always flying around looking for people I would not recommend this place. Also there was no guess parking they did

After living at the Nova Pointe apartments for 2 years I can honestly say if you can afford to live anywhere else, literally anywhere else, I highly recommend it. The apartment complex presents itself like a clean and affordable living space but the truth is the place is riddled with fees and problems. Ants, cockroaches, and spiders were reoccurring issues in our apartment no matter how much we seemed to spray and bomb with nearly no help from the apartment complex which gave me some sticky pads to "catch" the bugs when I filed a complaint. This place is run by some slumlord !!!!nobody answer the phones ....water get shut off everyday and different time of the day ,no hot water for a whole week .....for the last three years I stayed here and they tow resident cars even if you have your parking sticker only because they get money every time they have their residents cars get towed .so park your car on the street! .....please stay away they do not value their residents or care

Even if you don't experience all of them, you WILL experience more than a few, at some point, and it will make your experience living here, uncomfortable at the least.

This is how communication works
You call, put in maintenance requests: they may or may not pick up/callback, they may or may not show up, either way you'll wait.
They send out memos, to TELL YOU what will happen, but don't answer your calls. They often lock the leasing office during normal business

Do not move here! The management is HORRIBLE. Unreliable. They all should be fired or retrained. They NEVER answer the phone. Parking is ridiculous, gates don't work to get in and out of the property. Always has homeless walking around or riding bikes through the complex at night. Dumpsters are not conveniently located and almost always full. The only good thing about this place is nicely updated apartments. This place is absolutely horrible. Don't waste your time applying or looking. They probably won't answer the phone anyways when you call.

I was told it would be one price for the apartment based on my income. Had my appointment for application on Jan 30th 2021. They called me a few days later saying it would be well over the price I was originally given so I asked them to pull my application. I understood not getting the application fee of $40 back. I was told the $100 holding deposit would be mailed to me by check within a few weeks. It is now almost June and I still have not received my $100. I have emailed multiple times and called and left messages. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. They only want your money. They

Don't move here. I was desperate and needed a spot but oh my god it's horrible. Big issue, hot water has been out for 5 days, constant domestic violence and screaming from neighbors. Trash always all over the parking lot plus stray cats everywhere. This is the place you see in movies that the crackhead lives at and they still try to charge 1300??? Find somewhere else. Can't wait for my lease to be up

I was looking online to possibly move here and I have read all the reviews & disheartened thanks for the heads up everyone. Yikes

If i were you I'd make sure you have everything out of your apartment. My boyfriend had his 30 day in and it wasn't up until the 5th of this month and he forgot something in his apartment and he went to go pick it up and they already changed his locks. Would not recommend this apartment complex.

Since moving in this past August, I have experienced more unprofessionalism than I can even comprehend. Today, I was called stating that a package was left for me at the office. When I arrived to get it there was another guy waiting outside the door. So I walked up and knocked lightly at first. When no one responded, I knocked harder. In the past, someone usually comes to the door to let you know they heard you and will assist soon. However, today this did not happen so I continued to knock louder and call.

Hello iv lived in the nova pointe apartments for a month now,and i love it so far,its so nice and peaceful,also the maintenance team is great!,,my fan motor went out in my hovac system,and the maintenance team responded promptly and diagnosed the issue and replaced it right away,was very impressed and satisfied with the service of the maintenance crew.

A 5 year old just died from a home invasion. He was shot in the head. Do not move here. It is not safe and they dont care. The property management never fixes anything and they're very rude. They wont let you know of a child death here and dont do anything to resolve the unsafe conditions people live in but if you have one bag of trash on your porch they are on top of writing you a letter about it.
