Great job on the roof, fast and looks good. Quote was reasonable, and they fixed some damage I had in a few spots. Quote was easy to get, financing at 0% was an option I qualified for and have to pay off in 1 year or less which a good deal. Used the FT synthetic platinum underlayment which is better than the 40-pound felt and better life expectancy.
We see tile roofing all over Arizona. The tile is usually pretty durable. Where you have problems is when the underlayment barrier between the tile and the plywood wears out. Once this happens, it can cause your roof to leak which will damage everything below your roof. Sometimes during our monsoon season, the wind gets bad enough to lift the tiles on your roof exposing the underlayment and plywood, causing leaking.
This type of roofing material has a life of between 15-30 years. Hail and wind can cause major damage to this type of roofing and we will see insurance claims covering the costs to replace this type of roofing frequently. High winds will also blow off shingles causing leaking inside your home. Keep an eye on your roof for missing shingles.
Metal roofs are pretty common sights in neighborhoods all over Arizona and the U.S. in general. Their popularity is no big shocker, either. Metal roofs are known to have many positive points but they're not flawless. I've had bad experiences with roofers in the past so I'm very glad I found Caliber Roofing. I had a problematic 'bowl effect' flat roof with Mansard sides. Other roofers simply sprayed an additional layer of coating on it indicating it was fixed, but I'd end up with a swimming pool up there every time it rained and I'd have to spend hours sweeping water to the downspouts, and then they would ignore my phone calls, texts, and emails. Rocco came out, took lots of pictures, and actually consulted a professional roofing engineer to figure out how to finally correct the problem. It had to be stripped

Chris and their team of workers were outstanding.
They communicated very well with us from the beginning of the process to the end. Chris also returned several times to repair a part that was accidentally damaged on our basketball rim.

They are very professional and also helped us with our insurance. While the insurance company wanted to piece our roof together caliber was on the same page as us and helped us get our whole roof replaced. They were fast and professional. They did a complete tear off and install in one day and even cleaned up well. Couldn’t even tell they had been there other than the beautiful roof they left behind. I've worked with many vendors. I built my own house so can say with confidence that Caliber stands out from the other vendors I have used. They are reasonable with costs, they are responsive, they are respectful. Most of all, they treated us like we were their only project and they completed the work within the discussed timeline. Caliber Roofing Services did a complete tear off and replacement of our entire composition shingle roof. They were professional, affordable, and did high quality work. They helped us to select the best quality product for our roof that worked within our budget and helped us to accomplish the overall aesthetics we were looking for.
