Advanced Psychiatry Inc offers the services and support you and your family need. We're here to help you understand what you're experiencing through appropriate assessment, and we work with you to develop the best approach to treatment. We walk with you on your journey to recovery.

One in five Americans will have a diagnosable mental health condition in any given year, and half of us will experience a mental health challenge at some time in our lives.Extensive evidence shows that mental health treatment works as well as treatments for common non-psychiatric illnesses. We know that it takes courage to ask for help, especially because there is still stigma about mental health conditions.
Services
Advanced Psychiatry inc. is a privately owned behavioral health program, designed with the primary goal of helping individuals and families attain stable functioning and to excel in their personal goals despite the struggles with mental health challenges. We provide advanced services to all groups with no discrimination to gender, age, race or social status.
Adolescents and younger children will always have better and worse moments, but when you see significant changes in mood or behavior, your child may be struggling with an emotional or mental health problem that needs professional attention. We help parents better understand emotional and mental health symptoms in their children and what they can do to help.
For some, the use of drugs is a way of medicating difficult emotions, experiences, and memories. Drug use quickly becomes a way to escape those difficult emotions the cause of which often lies in the pain of past trauma. For others, due to a genetic predisposition, what begins as a routine prescription or innocent experimentation quickly escalates to addiction and dependence.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a common neuropsychological disorder affecting 3-7% of all school aged children. About 30-50% of these children continue to have symptoms into adulthood. ADHD can be described as a persistent or on-going pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that gets in the way of daily life or typical development.

Absolutely disgusting in here! Looks like all they care about is wearing a mask but don’t care about having clean toys for the kids. The toys are disgusting, the floor is disgusting, cleaning is not in this places policy I guess… just make sure to wear a mask.

This place is an absolute joke. The lady behind the front desk had her mask below her face the whole time, the dr didn’t even speak English, could barely understood a word he was saying and he gave me a 10 question adhd survey for children, I am 26. And I have multiple referrals from therapists and doctors to see an adhd specialist, even one doctor went as far as prescribing me adhd medication. I was on said medication when I talked to the doctor here and he gave me the 5 minute child analysis and said no you don’t have adhd.. uh that’s good that I’m not showing signs considering I’m

This place is honestly awful. my doctor doesn't fill my prescription and doesn't listen at all, doesn't communicate with the pharmacy. the lady at the front desk always has an attitude whenever I ask for my Telehealth link that my doctor was supposed to provide me with, but never does till I call. never apply to be a patient here because your mental health won't be taken into account, they just want your money.

If I could give negative stars I would. Only reason I see this facility is because I was referred to it by my primary doctor. I dread calling them as staff is super unprofessional and rude. They are always in a miserable mood and seem like you are bothering them to even change your appointment. Dealing with the facility makes me feel like I should be the one getting paid not me paying them for their poor service.

I’ve been going to advanced Psychiatry for about 2 years now. My doctor is now “Pius” ( May have spelled that wrong) I love this place. Front desk is always busy so I have patience with them but my doctor is awesome.. he doesn’t rush me out his face he actually cares what’s going on with my mental well being. Now I’m pregnant and some days I can’t get out of bed because I’m so tired and they’ve never gave me a problem to reschedule. I love this place wont be going anywhere else for a while

RUN!
If I could give 0 stars I would! You wait more time in the waiting area then you do with Dr.O. He made me feel like he didn’t want to listen to what I had to say and told me I have “TOO many emotions”? Not going back. This isn’t a place where they care about their patients.

Worse doctor office ever staff is rude and unprofessional. The medical assistant hung up in my face twice when I was only calling to ask for a prior authorization to be sent to my pharmacy. I called again mailbox was full and couldn’t leave a message. So I came to the office at 3:30pm to find another guy standing outside trying to reach someone the office was closed doors locked and lights off. What doctors office closes at 3:30pm on a Friday smh I will be finding a different doctor for my son. Nowhere on the many pieces of paper states their office hours or the fact they will be closing early

I’m absolutely surprised Dr. O has any positive reviews after the mess he put our family through, personally costing us thousands of dollars to save himself three minutes of his time.
After days of working on insurance approval and patient billing, Dr. O denied a transfer at the last possible minute for our small child.
Instead, Dr. O only offered a restrictive and multi-thousand dollar treatment plan. He completely denied the plan that had finally gotten approval from the insurance company and had been carefully put together from my son’s care team.
I could chalk it up to a miscommunication

Met with Sydney Egan, NP for my first visit. I've never been to any kind of treatment for mental health issues before, so I didn't know what to expect. She was incredibly understanding, helpful, and supportive, and explained all of my treatment options in detail, and made sure that I was comfortable and agreeable with the options presented. She gave me great suggestions on continued therapy and other things I could do to help myself as well. I am looking forward to working with her.

I have been taking 2 of my children here to see Dr.O for over a year and haven’t had any issues with the staff or Dr.O. He takes time to find out what is going on with my children and adjust there meds accordingly he doesn’t just hand out medications like they are candy like some Drs do. Any prior authorization that’s needed the office staff are quick to get them done.
I would recommend Dr.O to friends and family with no hesitation.
