I love the fact that he is Alaskan through and through and therefore has a lot of experience on what Alaskan elements can do to a home. He not only points out damage or repairs needed, he also tells my clients the signs to watch for and how to prevent damage to their home which my clients find highly valuable. Jon was an extremely knowledgeable home inspector and even took some extra time to provide advice on how to make the house more energy efficient since he is also an energy auditor. The report was detailed (18 pages), easy to understand, and provided in a timely manner (next day). I would strongly recommend him.

Jon provided a very thorough and professional Home Inspection prior to finalizing the purchase of a condo in Girdwood, AK. His 18 page report focused on Health/Safety and functionality of the Exterior, HVAC/Furnace, Water Heater, Electrical/Plumbing, Living Spaces, Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, Crawlspace, Hallways, Laundry/Utility Room. He even came back a second time to go through the second unit of a duplex I'm buying, as due to a code error we were unable to access the 2nd unit the first time. He explained to me what he was looking at, was looking for, and even let crawl under the house with him to explain each pipe, shut off valves, odd moisture spots and things to educate my future tenants about to help them keep the house in the most highly functioning order. There's nothing better than walking into a buying situation fully aware of things to keep an eye out for to ensure you
