Pentamere: the "five seas"; the Great Lakes. From the heart of Michigan's.um, automotive country, we bring you wines from the vines and orchards of the Great Lakes. It's all in the precision parts-great fruit with distinct regional character-and in the custom detailing. At Pentamere, old-fashioned winemaking craftsmanship meets innovative design.

Visiting Tecumseh, Mi and saw the winery advertisement and found the store on the main Street. Delightful time exploring new wines and learning about the winery. Definitely worth the time and conversation with the proprietor. Very knowledgeable on what they had and which food complimented the wine.
Also a good salesperson. Definitely repeating
the experience.

Excellent winery in the heart of downtown Tecumseh. This place is so cute and charming and the staff here are wonderful. The gentleman working here was very thorough in explaining the different wines, what foods they pair with (with taste samplings!), and the regions the different grapes come from (all Great Lakes varietals).
My mom and I were just going to buy a bottle each but ended up getting a whole case to split. Being we usually drink dry wines we were shocked at how much we enjoyed the sweeter wines here. The May Wine (semi sweet white) was my favorite and my mom loved the Mariner&apos

Nice place to go that isn't snobby with wine! Drink what you like, they say! Dan, the owner, was in when I was tasting and he was very helpful. It's a great little urban winery that I continue to go back to. I really love the variety of wines and I especially like the down to earth feel of the place.

Stopped by the booth at the renaissance festival. The bottles were covered up by paper describing the wine, I thought this technique didn't work well since I couldn't recognize the brand or read about the brand or alcohol content. I asked the men working the booth some questions and one of them in particular gave me very pompous remarks. With that being said, I spent my money elsewhere. Because of this experience I will not be buying this brand or traveling to this winery. My experience was very pleasant with all of the other vendors at the festival.

I'm a huge fan of Pentamere. It's too bad I only get to go there once a year with the Pioneer Wine Trail Big Grape Tour because it's about an hour away from where I live, not to mention wine tasting with a group of friends is a lot more fun. Although the tasting area isn't all that big, the staff is always very friendly and very willing to let you taste pretty much everything on the menu. I like that Pentamere offers a good variety of wines that can satisfy all different types of palates. Prices for the wine are very reasonable. There are certainly a few wines that are slightly
