At Greenville Dermatology, we are committed to providing our patients with the highest level of clinical and cosmetic services. We ask only scheduled patients enter the building unless you are a minor and are accompanied by 1 legal guardian or if the patient needs special assistance. All others will have to wait outside. Face masks are optional for anyone entering our building. All medical providers and staff are required to wear masks.
Dr. Poinsette is a native Greenvillian with deep family ties to the Upstate of South Carolina. She earned her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Poinsette's medical Residency was fulfilled at Southern Illinois University which included an internship in Pediatrics at MUSC.
From treatment of skin conditions such as skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea to removal of warts, moles and other lesions, Greenville Dermatology provides a full range of general dermatological services that will have your skin looking at its best. Acne is an affliction of the skin that consists of pimples, blackheads and cysts.
At time passes our skin shows the natural, inevitable signs of aging such as wrinkles, sagging, and sun damage. You can counteract those effects with several non-surgical cosmetic procedures available at our practice, including BOTOX and injectable fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane to smooth lines and wrinkles and raise sunken areas.

Truly terrible. The dr always rushed my visits by walking toward the door or standing with her hand on the door handle while I was asking questions about my diagnosis. (Including my questions, exams lasted 5min or less.) I tolerated this for several visits in less than a year until they failed to respond to a pre-authorization request from my insurance. This caused me to go without my prescription for days, despite having spoken with medical staff three times over a week reminding them to reply to my insurance provider. This practice is so negligent, that even their "emergency" prompt on the phone

The reasons for poor stars are from the medical side…
Scheduling is extremely difficult, waiting time on the phones is to long, and it takes them a long time to return calls when scheduling procedures- they are scheduled by off site corporate phone service, not the front office/appointment folks. No records for my previous visits could be found. The operator was curt and very aggressive.
At last visit my full body check was cursory at best, and my concerns were dismissed, even with family history to be concerned with. Spots that I was worried about were looked over without any real time or

The absolute worst customer experience!! After 6 voice messages to make an appointment without any call back, i decided to go in person. The front desk was rude and sent me to where i queued for 30 minutes before I just left. Its absolute chaos and does not function like a business, let alone a doctors office. This is not a comment on the doctors (as i couldn't get an appointment)

Dee Painter (laser/esthetician) is AMAZING- super helpful, does an incredible job, and is really personable. My experiences with her have been amazing, and she has helped me more than the medical folks! She is patient and attentive, listens carefully and goes above and beyond! If I was reviewing her alone, I would give 5 stars!

I can’t sing this place and its employees praises loud enough. I started going to Greenville Dermatology for acne about a year ago and was referred to Dee Painter soon after. When I tell you guys this is the best esthetician I have ever had, I am not lying. Not only is she great at her job, but she’s one of the sweetest people I know. If you are in the area and not going to Dee on a regular basis for services, you are missing out. Her professionalism and willingness to work with her clients is what sets her apart and keeps me coming back. I highly recommend getting the Subnovi Plasma procedure

My teenage daughter has being developing acne due to normal growing. Although I had being doing a good job helping her control her monthly breakouts I decided to find a dermatologist to help her with her acne scaring. When we went to this office, it was very hectic. The front desk person (OMG) so rude and unprofessional. She had no reason to treat anybody the way we were treated. Like in every doctors office we had to wait to go in. It was a lot of people there waiting that day so we waited.
The nurse was friendly. It was our first time there so she made us feel pretty comfortable while waiting

Greenville Dermatology is awesome! I was using a different dermatologist previously in Greenville that did not seem to care and spent very little time or effort to actually help me with my acne prone skin. Dee Painter in particular put together an awesome package of in house treatment and at home natural topical treatment (no antibiotics!!) that has done wonders for my acne and overall skin health. My skin has not been this clear since my early teenage years (currently a few years out of college)! Thanks a bunch!

NP Nancy Richmond has improved my skin in such a short amount of time. She is thorough, kind, and quick. I’ve never waited longer than 5 minutes upon arrival for an appointment. After years of visiting a practice where I waited at least an hour to be seen each visit, Greenville Dermatology exceeded my expectations in all areas. Their care, customer service, and facility are all 5 stars for me.
