Have you recently lost someone who meant so much to you? Do you feel misunderstood and isolated in your grief? I'm glad you found me. Therapy helps. There is hope and a way through and past anxiety, depression, prolonged or acute grief and relationship challenges. My name is Dean Janeff, and I look forward to spending 15 minutes on the phone with you (free consultation) to tell you how I can help.
You no longer need to feel unhappy in your relationship or live with anxiety, depression or grief on your own. Together, you can start to experience relief and healing. Sometimes a grief counselor can be a great support when emotions are too painful to navigate. It may be that a loss has left you feeling overwhelmed with pain, disbelief and/or uncertainty.

Services
I am passionate about helping clients manage fear, panic, anxiety and stress. You may feel overwhelmed by the various aspects of your life. It just feels like too much. I have found in my life and my work with clients that there can peace and contentment even amidst the tumult and choppy waters. I am confident that when you have the tools to return to calm you will find more ease and fulfillment in your life and in your relationships.
Grief counseling is designed to help you work through feelings, thoughts or memories of a loved one in a safe environment and eventually arrive at a place of healthy adjustment in your life. Losses can also come in the form of divorce, miscarriage, career change or illness. All can have a profound effect on your life.
Do you ask yourself, "where did the love go" or "how can I have a relationship that I want?" You may feel that your relationship is too hard or you may feel hopeless that change is possible. You may yearn for a time when the relationship was fulfilling, supportive and passionate. I am a firm believer that issues in relationship can be solved if both partners are willing to do the work in couples therapy.
Discernment Counseling is designed for people who are considering divorce but are not completely sure if it's the right path for them. Divorce is one of the biggest and complex decisions you will make and you have probably spent months, even years, contemplating this move. Discernment Counseling is a really good way to evaluate your marriage and take action- either pursue divorce or commit to a course of marital therapy to save the marriage.
Counseling is a wonderful way of creating long term change and transformation in yourself and in your relationships. You found the right place! Therapy is about YOU and your needs, and your hopes for change. My job is to create a safe and welcoming environment for you to work on the goals we set together.

I can't begin to thank Dean enough for the progress he has helped me to make (and continues to help me make) since my Father passed unexpectedly almost a year ago. I immediately sought out help after the traumatic experience and saw he uses EMDR. It has been an enormous transformation, helped immensely with anxiety and has helped me navigate the choppy, unpredictable waters of grief. During the past year there have been many highs and lows and he has helped me to find some peace during a tumultuous time in my life. I would recommend Dean to anyone looking for a great listener, guide and therapist

Dean was instrumental in my growth during the 15 months we worked together. In that time he helped me cut my addiction to pot, get out of a bad relationship, and quit a job that was not right for me. He listens well and got me to see things in a different way that was positive. We also did EMDR which helped me get over some trauma from my past. I highly recommend Dean to anyone.
