I love flowers. The colors, the textures, the curves, the angles. So after many years of arranging them for my own pleasure and for family and friends, I have taken the creative leap to design arrangements for your pleasure and for the special moments in your life. So what's in a name? My true love of flowers began at my godmother's house on 41st Street in Washington, DC where my family lived for many years.
I can still recall the first time I purchased peonies and watched them bloom in a simple glass vase in the middle of the dining room table at 41st Street. My love for flowers was cemented. I thought it appropriate to choose a name where my love blossomed.

I am a boutique floral design studio focusing on weddings and special events in the Washington, Baltimore and Northern Virginia areas. My primary focus is floral arrangements but I can also assist with the overall event concept and design. I meet clients by appointment only at my private design studio or at a mutually agreeable location.

Colleen did such an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. She always answered our questions promptly, and really listened to exactly what we were looking for. My bouquet was stunning, and my bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful as well. She was very reasonably priced and worked with our budget and gave us recommendations on what would fit into our budget the best. I would highly recommend using 41st street Design for your event. 41st also did the flowers for my bridal shower, and we got comments on how beautiful they were as well.
