Dr. Joshi specializes in General Optometry, Contact Lenses, Dry Eye and Computer Vision Syndrome, and is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara County Optometric Society.
Proper eye care is important for people of all ages and regular eye exams are encouraged for everyone, but especially for those already using glasses or contact lenses. Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.
The field of optometry changes quickly, and now many more patients are able to enjoy the flexibility of wearing contact lenses to correct their vision. Contact lens exams include tests that are not always performed in regular eye exams, so if you are considering contact lenses, be sure to let us know when you schedule your exam.
Sunglasses are designed to protect your eyes from sunlight. While all tinted lenses help to protect your eyes from sunlight, some will protect your eyes better than others. Sunglasses with lenses that block ultraviolet sunlight are the best option. Although sunglasses can be expensive, there are many affordable brands that provide great protection from harmful sunlight as well.

The doctors and staff here are kind, personable and very helpful. For the most part, many businesses are. The major reason this office stands out to me is due to their incredible customer service which saved my butt. Last week I lost my glasses on vacation and was in a different time zone. I had no back ups. They quickly sent me my prescription but when I got to lens crafters, I realized they sent the incorrect prescription. I've been a patient here since 2016 and I've since moved to the Sacramento area but will make the drive out to see Dr. Jen and Mitch! I had the best experience at Hacienda Park Optometry. I've always had a hard time during the vision testing but Dr. Jen made it easy and comfortable. I also got fitted for contacts. I think it was Ruby who helped me pick out my glasses, and she was great. She found the perfect pair for me. She also adjusted my old glasses so they are more comfortable while I wait for my new ones. Already had my husband make an appointment, so I highly recommend them!

I was looking for a a new optometrist because my doctor closed his office. The patient experience, from the front desk to the doctor, at Hacienda Park Optometry was excellent. Dr. Joshi was kind, thorough, and caring. I was able to be seen for a second visit right away due to eye pain and Dr. Joshi followed up that night with an email, which was a nice surprise. The optician who helped me was friendly and even tighten a screw on my sunglasses. Being a health care provider myself, I really appreciated the kind of care that I received and would be happy to recommend this office without reservation

Mitch is a miracle worker! He's adjusted and tinkered with my glasses so many times I've lost count! I recently sat on my Ray Bans prescription sun glasses and he was able to adjust it by adding a rubber band (same size for braces bands lol) to the hinge. For my regular glasses I've had the longer sized lenses and had issues with the depth perception and peripherals due to the magnitude of my prescription. Took a few tries but was able to identify the problem due to the size of lenses which is noticeable from the side view but facing me it's negligible. The thicker lenses provide

Excellent customer service from scheduling to checkout and follow-up. Dr. Joshi is thorough and diligent and has an excellent manner and presence. He takes the time to explain things and made the whole process very easy! The staff (in particular Mitch) also did an excellent job getting my teenage daughter comfortable with contact lenses! I wish I could give Hacienda Park Optometry a 6 star review because they were that great! I was on the hunt for a new optometrist as I desperately needed some new glasses. After having my previous pair for 8 years it was far overdue for an eye exam and glasses. I looked up nearby optometry clinics in my area and stumbled upon Hacienda Park. Great experience every time. I'm extremely happy with both Dr. Jen & Dr. Joshi. They are very professional, warm, and take the best care of me and other customers from my observation. I recently got new glasses. While I like the frames the lenses were not correct. I called and got a convenient apt to get re-checked. Dr. Yoshi was so friendly and took measurements and saw the correction needed. Mitch took over and checked other measurements. Should have the new glasses in a week. The office follows all cleaning protocols, low volume of customers at any time. I felt safe and well-cared for during my time there. Thank you for helping me see better and for working at this time.

I have the best eye exam experience here, every time! Dr. Jen is friendly, thorough, and she always remembers personal details about me, even though I see her once per year. Once again, we had the best experience here. Both my son and I see Dr. Joshi, and he is the absolute best. Super accurate with both mine and my son's prescription lenses. Other places I have gone to over the years never seemed to be able to get my vision as clear as it should be, but Dr. Joshi did. His office staff is great! I love this bunch! I've been going to Dr. Jen for a few years now and look forward to seeing her every time! She is, of course, a brilliant and capable doctor but her kind demeanor and sweet, friendly personality is what keeps me (and I'm sure all of her patients) coming back!
Mitch and Shawn are also just wonderful guys (Opticians)- so helpful and always make sure I have just what I want/need.
