The Oceanfront Hacienda is not just another San Clemente pier hotel. This historical Spanish Villa was built by San Clemente city founder Ole Hanson in 1928. Ole Hanson had a dream of a Spanish Village by the Sea. The Hacienda has undergone major restoration to bring it back to its original grandeur.

Located right across from the San Clemente Pier, with the best white water views! Come and live like a local at the Oceanfront Hacienda. How cool would it be to lounge and gaze at the ocean or enjoy a fire by one of the Chimeneas? Like to cook, no worries, all suites have fully equipped kitchens. You can even do a BBQ.

Great place to stay right by the beach and pier. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the owner John is super nice. Will go back again.

What a wonderful place to celebrate our 40th anniversary Oceanfront Hacienda. The owner and staff made us feel welcome and very comfortable. The decor was beautiful and calming. The views were great. We really loved our room and our pot belly fireplace. We can't wait to go back again.

The view was breathtaking. Spent 2 nights here for my birthday and it was so relaxing and John was a great host. The Bonita suite is where we stayed and it was a great choice.

Its a small, clean, quiet, simple hotel thats right across from the San Clemente Pier. Restaurants, coffee shops and the delicious Fisherman's Warf restaurants all at walking distance. Beaches are super nice and the sunsets are spectacular. Its a nice place to recharge....

Absolutely love this place! My wife and I stayed in the room right below the check in. Room has an awesome patio with great views of the ocean/pier, perfect spot just to chill, people watch and watch the sun go down. Room was very clean and even has Kitchen. Owner John very cool and down to earth. Made the check in process very simple. Thank you John! We’ll definitely be back soon :))

The view, the location, the patio suite was amazing! The best stay ever! There was a free trolley just outside our room to town and shopping! The owner John was fantastic! We'll be back! Best hotel in San Clemente!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying in our lovely one bedroom, hearing the ocean at night! The views are incredible and the location was perfect. The owners, John and Karen are awesome hosts! They have put so much work and love into this glorious Spanish Colonial hacienda! We would love to stay here again!
