Services
Whitey received his nickname for his trademark bright white shock of hair (pure white from his childhood). Initially, Whitey focused solely on cutting diamonds. When his son Butch began working in the business, Butch demonstrated a flair for design, creating custom Koop jewelry pieces on an individual basis.
Creating a custom piece of fine jewelry starts with your idea. You come in to meet with us and share your vision. What does this piece mean to you? What's your style? You show us examples of what you like (and don't like), we talk price ranges, and then we get to work. During the design process, we start with simple pencil sketches.

Morgan in the front is amazing; so knowledgable and courteous! Justin has taken after his father in running the business and has immense passion in creating jewelry that the customer loves. I went 5 years ago to create a custom engagement ring and it was exactly what my wife wanted. When we got married, we went back to enhance the ring to symbolize our marriage and Justin went above and beyond in making sure she had a ring that she loved and was proud to wear everyday.

Absolutely! Justin combined two rings I had. One was my mother’s ring, but there was always “something” I didn’t like about it. Justin picked up on exactly what that was in seconds! (And fixed it). It turned out beautifully, too. Koops have made both of my daughters-in-law’s engagement rings and both are so beautiful and one of a kind! I love grab-a-gem, too! Going to have some of the gems made into simple necklaces for gifts.
