This was the worst living experience I’ve ever had. And the apartment I had before this was leaking carbon monoxide. It could be great if not for the horrific management and the heat that is uncontrollable (think 80+ in the winter and spring if you don’t open windows and blow cold air in). Worst management ever. They don't care about you at all. it's all a numbers game to them. They come off as nice. but as soon as you sign and pay you're a nobody to them. They put you on hold and hang up on you almost always. Also the management has an ego problem. Luckily I make good money and have lawyers and took them to court and won. but they definitely prey and expect their Tennant's to not fight them about anything.

I would NEVER RECOMMEND URBANE FOR LIVING. No matter if it’s in the suburbs or the city, they are seriously terrible. Work orders ignored bed bugs, mice,roaches etc comes with there apartments. Please do not ignore the ratings it’s very accurate! The only time you can reach them is when any payment is due. Other than that prepare for rude and intrusive workers on site who will tell you they have the right to enter your apartment without knowledge. Simply horrible DONT MOVE WITH URBANE

If you are considering living here please read the reviews first! My husband and i lived in the apartments in ferndale for one year and we DO NOT recommend anyone move here. The staff is horrible, they never answer their phones or respond to messages. The first time we turned our heat on one of our radiators wasn’t capped properly and was shooting… out steam that could cause third degree burn. Luckily my husband noticed this quickly and shut it off and fixed the problem ourselves. (Because they never answer their phones) They do everything through third parties so they never have to

Middle Class Tenants. The Management treat the tenants like nobodies. They increased the tenants rent under short notice and unplanned construction days where anyone who works is screwed. So your left to have… contractors Rome your belongings or call off to be present. Since living under Urbane it's been a stressful unhealthy living for me. I'm moving not because The amount of the rent but the rudeness of management etc. uncaring,inconsiderate, and rude! the Better Business I've contacted as well as other sources. Read the reviews before you make a decision people.

Their dog bit my daughter today. Went into the office today after 5 days of no one calling me back re:service concerns (no working heat and it’s currently 58 degrees today and dropping into the 40’s at night) Kyle was rude and entirely uninterested in finding any answers to my questions. I asked to speak with a property manager in hopes of… finding some answers. During this time their white dog BIT my 17 month old daughter. Kyle’s response to this was to storm up front and actually slam their sliding door shut while my daughter sat there screaming. Not even an apology.

Charged me $100 dollars on my security deposit with an unknown fee. I have been trying to contact the person in charge of resident issues for two weeks now and have not gotten a response. Other people on the office can't seem to help me, and can only tell me when she is supposed to be in, but then never is in when the time comes.

I lived here for two years and then the company decided to raise my rent by $200 so I switched units with them to have a less expensive unit. They made me give them a new security deposit before refunding my old one. They sent me a statement detailing how much I would be receiving back but then never sent me my deposit back.
