Went to him years back for an emergency tooth extraction and spent MONTHS trying to get my money back that my insurance company told him i was owed back for the procedure. He still argued it after speaking with them directly and then coincidentally wasn't in office during the time he and I had scheduled for me to pick up the money I was owed. He left me a check for nearly a third of what my insurance told him and threatened me with the police when I told him I would wait for him to return and provide the remainder. He is the most shady "dentist" in the area by far. My advice is to go anywhere but

Yea bro. Idk where to start and there are no recommendations I can give. I waited an hour to get waxxed out of $120. The work was so tedious that it made me beyond annoyed. The equipment is from the stone age cause nothing works and when it does it freezes. You gave me basically no information what so ever next to everything I asked about and half of that was inaudible. Im not gonna rant but Im not getting my tooth pulled here.

I was hesitant to make a review about this practice because I thoughtI was being critical in my observation of the unclean office, slow or no response to calls/messages, and the way things went down. I find it odd that I had the hold the a piece of a bitewing in place with my index finger for an x-ray of one molar instead of an x-ray of the entire to find the problem and link it to the correct tooth. I explained the pain feels like it’s coming from this area and he picked the tooth to x-ray and work on.

Dr. Sams saved the day with an emergency crown replacement. He was available same day (on a weekend) and is a no frills, get-the-job done kind of guy. The pricing was affordable, even uninsured. His office is a little outdated but don't judge a book by the cover! I've gone to dentists before with stunning, new offices who did half the job of Dr. Sams. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for emergency dental or ongoing services. I'll be going back!!

I went to have emergency work done on my tooth because my filling came out and it was causing me some pain. First of all he does not accept insurance all work being done must be paid for out of pocket. He will however submit the documents to your insurance so he can get payed double for the service. I paid over 500 dollars out of pocket for a simple temporary filling, he then submitted the claim to my insurance. I called my insurance to see what they covered and how i would be reimbursed for the out of pocket expenses and they said they would only cover 209 dollars but they paid it out to the dentist

VERY unsanitary office.
I fractured a tooth that already had a root canal in it... He asked me to have a seat and open my mouth for him to put his bare, unwashed, ungloved hands in to look. Then he saw my x-rays and said everything looked fine, no cracks, no emergency.
When I asked him if he could see the clear fracture and infection at my root, he said “if you already know what it is, then why are you here?”
Needless to say, I left and won’t be back.

Called this office on a Saturday morning due to unbearable toothache, and the very professional and kind lady named Michelle scheduled me to come in that same afternoon. Dr. Sams performed an emergency procedure, and I was immediately relieved of pain and I have been pain free since then. So glad his office took me in so quickly, on such a short notice, and Dr. Sams did a great job with the emergency procedure! He also contacted my Dental Insurance and submitted the claim for me, and I got a portion of the bill reimbursed. Thank you for saving me from pain that day, Dr. Sams!
