I have been a patient of Dr. Cassell for 15 years. Always great, friendly, thorough service! He fixed up the teeth that the military damaged, and my dental health is always top notch. He is always careful to make sure every procedure is pain-free and done right the first time, every time. Best dentist I have ever had!!!

Nice guy, this Dr.Cassell! And I really like his hygienist also. In all seriousness, I'm very happy that I was referred to this practice a few years ago for my dental care. I had my first visit with Dr. Cassell and it was such a great experience! I have an overgrown wisdom tooth and also just had a baby so a lot of things going on with my teeth. Dr. Cassell explained everything so thoroughly. I have been to maybe 8 dentists in my life and he was the only one who educated me on things in a way that made so much sense. Also, he didn’t pressure or threaten me to get work done without explaining a clear reason why, as I have experienced several times in the past. Also, all the staff I interacted with were amazing, awesome and kind people! I actually look forward to

Had a great experience with Dr. Cassell! He is honest and caring. I went to him after another place told me I had 4 cavities and bad gums and wanted to charge me $1000s.... I've never had a cavity in my life! Dr. Cassell said all I needed was a good cleaning. I am so glad I found him and didn't trust those greedy corporate guys.

I am new to Dr. Cassells office and I am extremely impressed. By the way the office operates and communicates with each other, I can tell they have a great team who care a lot about each other. Love walking into that kind of environment. Dr Cassell was amazing! I was so nervous when I walked in and he and his team made me feel at ease and comfortable. They even provided a blanket since it was cold in the office, which I thought was brilliant! The best part is, Dr. Cassell did such an amazing job pulling my teeth, while I was fully awake, I didn't have any swelling

My faith in dentistry was restored in ONE visit to Dr. Cassell. I was referred to him by a coworker who gave him rave reviews! I was not disappointed and found a new home for all of my dental needs. Dr. Cassell is very personable, there was no shaming me since I hadn't been to a dentist in years for a variety of reasons. If I could rate higher I would. I have been going to Jon since I moved to San diego and wouldn't go anywhere else. The way he explains every step to you to make you feel comfortable as he is doing it or right before. Even if he didn't do something perfectly he will make it right immediately. He makes sure to call you personally that evening to ensure everything is going as planned and that youre comfortable.

I'm a 43-year old son of a dentist so I have some pretty high standards. Dr. Cassell and staff remind me of the excellent team my Dad employed for so many years. He takes great care in explaining in detail his plan of action, and between the measurement of pockets and the attention given to the other areas surrounding the mouth, Dr. Cassell is very thorough and knowledgeable about how gum disease can relate to other health issues in the body.
The best part is his love for his job, which he says affords him the ability to "hang out with friends". That's pretty awesome, keep up

Dr Cassell, always makes sure everything is perfect and comfortable. The office is always in a happy mood, love the music choice, all the ladies are always willing to answer all of your questions and accommodate all our needs. Coming to the dentist was a "nightmare" for me until I found Dr Cassell, it's been a pleasure to have him looking after my smile.

We have experienced superior service with every scheduled dental procedure at Dr. Cassell's office. But, this was a dental emergency that occurred late evening Tuesday. We called his office service and his team arranged an emergency appointment for me first thing Wednesday morning.
It was amazing. They proceeded quickly to assess the situation, explain the likely cause of my tooth basically cracking when I took a bite of my meal, and taking corrective action that was in the best interest of my overall dental health- all while taking great care to minimize my pain.

I have to lower my review to 3 stars. They didn't take proper care of my daughter-in-law or me. I have an appointment tomorrow so we'll see if they keep me waiting an hour or tell me they are overbooked. The dental care itself is very good. I am comfortable with Dr. Cassell but he failed to call my daughter-in-law repeatedly during an emergency. And they called me the morning of appt. to tell me he would not be able to help me because they have a full day.

It is like finding the family dentist you have always wanted. He is so kind... and doesnt talk you into unnecessary dental procedures... he remembers you like an old friend... his staff makes you feel like an honored guest. And he is good... really the best at what he does. He numbs appropriately (this is important) and is always cognizant of how the patient is doing... and explains things as you go along. Best dentist ever. Love him! Rare find!

I can't rave about my dentist and his staff enough!!!! If you are not over the moon about your current dentist... I highly recommend you give Dr. Cassel a shot. You won't look back. I've spent far MORE than my fair share in a dentist/orthodontics chair over the years. Braces twice and 11 teeth pulled, a crown, some fillings, protective sealants,… etc. I've seen many dentists. I was referred to Dr. Cassel and his incredible team 10 years ago and he is hands down the most down to earth, personable, caring, knowledgeable , HONEST and forward thinking dentist I have encountered. He is excellent
