North End Counseling

I moved to Boise in 2012 from Austin, Texas, where I lived for 17 years. Originally, I am from Poland, a beautiful country in Central Europe. This particular background gives me a unique perspective which my clients find helpful and refreshing. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), licensed to practice in the state of Idaho.

Many people find it really difficult to deal with their problems alone. We often find ourselves thinking the same thoughts in our heads over and over again. Often these thoughts and messages have been there since we were very young and are not necessarily true. They were "downloaded" unconsciously before the age of six.

My therapy style is relational and eclectic, incorporating techniques from different schools of counseling including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, person-centered approaches, and mindfulness approach. I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

Wiesia truly has a gift for tuning in to what is needed to heal and move forward. She is kind, perceptive, intuitive, wise and intelligent. I discovered things about myself that were not only eye-opening, but empowering. My time with her focused on grief work, stress and self-care. What I found to be particularly helpful, was her uncanny ability to discern each time exactly what tools or techniques would best serve my session.
