Utilizing a solution-focused approach, my goal is to help you identify obstacles and uncover a meaningful way to navigate whatever you're being challenged by in your life at this time. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, and we can't change other people, we CAN work toward better understanding the role we play in the present situation, identify historical triggers, repetitive patterns, and resolve challenges one step at a time.

Clients are welcomed into my space where ever they are in terms of understanding, self-awareness, and emotion-anger, tearfulness, confusion-all are accepted as part of the process. Sessions focus on the 'here and now' while also exploring historical issues being triggered and mis-managed.

Ultimately, clients can expect to focus on their issues-whatever they may be-and will, in the process, come to feel genuinely known, accepted, and not so alone in the process of their lives.Post-graduate training came from The Meadows Treatment Center in Arizona resulting in a deeper understanding of 'family of origin' issues and adult relational dysfunctions.
I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.

In my couple's therapy sessions, I help people develop the necessary skills needed to maintain sustaining love.
