So did what was best for my daughter. He genuinely looks out for the best interest of his patients especially children! Dr. So and his staff are AMAZING!. So is very friendly and treats us as family. We are never treated like a number there. They help all their patients to find the right size, fit, and style of glasses frames to suit our face shape and our budget too.

Dr So. is by far, one of the best optometrists I have been to. He truly is nothing but professional and cares about his patients and their concerns. I highly recommend setting up an appointment with him if you're having any doubts about any visual concerns. Or even stop buy for their selection of sunglasses and good variety of frames. 5 stars all the way.

My daughter and I visited Dr. So based on recommendations from the insurance company website. We had been seeing Dr. Cutler for YEARS, he retired and we were looking for a broader selection of frames than that of the doctor's that took over Cutler's practice. Dr. So and Uncle Phillip were kind and the appointment went smoothly. The administrative staff dealt with double insurance coverage with ease and my daughter is in love with her newly selected frames. Overall an excellent experience made all the better with the addition of Dr. So's sense of humor. We'll be back for sure

The staff and "Uncle Phillip" are the greatest. I have been going here for years. My whole family goes here and they have always treated us like family. This place is so clean and they have a wide variety of glasses to choose from and are always so helpful and accommodating. I can see us going here for many more years to come! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I wish I could acknowledge all of the staff by name, but I just don't know then all. I'll stick with the two with which I've interacted most: Jan and Dr. So. Jan has been helping me choose frames for over four years. She's on her game and knows how to make good observations concerning how frames look on different faces and suggests REALLY good options. At this point, she chooses frames better for me than I do and I'm the type of person who never lets others

Wow, Dr. So is great to see. He makes sure to give you a complete check up and he doesn't try to up sell up new glasses. He showed me exactly the change from my current prescription and what I tested. He said for my sun glasses the change is not worth new lens. He also showed me why I should update my reading/ computer glass could be updated. Again, he showed me the change and let me decide, no pressure. The staff is great, they follow-up and work quickly to get your glasses to you.

Dr. So Optometrist is the best optometrist in Upland! My family have been with them for many years. They have great customer service, gorgeous frames and a short waiting period to pickup your new glasses. Ask for Uncle Philip, he will help you out to his best abilities. He is very sweet and considerate to all his clients. Can't wait to see them again!

Dr. So is wonderful - friendly, patient, and fantastic to work with. If I could review just him, it would be 5 stars.
His phone staff has become terrible. I've been going here for over 5 years, and just switched to a new optometrist because I was tired of calling and being made to feel like I was bugging them trying to make an appointment. Absolutely ridiculous. They are much better in person, but frankly it was so off-putting to deal with that I made a move to a new office.

It was the most positive, safe environment. That I have been in, everyone there was the best. And so friendly! The doctor was so easy going, and very knowledgeable regarding my visit. I always have the best experience at this optometrist. All the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and just genuinely great people. Today I bought two prescription and Phillip was kind enough to give me a discount off both! They are very precautious and safe regarding covid as well. It's a relief to see them take it so seriously!

The staff is really friendly , respectful and nice . They make you feel welcomed . The eye doctor makes sure to explain everything that is going on and if we have a concern or question he makes sure and clarifies what is being done and everything. He is very patient . The ladies that work at this optometry are super nice & helpful! I often go in to get my glasses straightened, & I always walk out satisfied. Not only are they good at what they do, but they are so down-to-earth & kind, that I even feel like they are my friends. That's how comfortable I feel at Dr. So's Optometry. Solid, skillful optometrist who genuinely knows what he is doing and takes a real interest in the long term health of his patients. Does not prescribe tests that are unnecessary. Great selection of eyeglasses, handicapped-accessible office. Good professional manner. One point of note is that they will often set a date of delivery for glasses of 2-3 weeks out - this is to protect against delays at the manufacturer. I got mine in about a week.

Dr So, always takes his time, you don't feel rushed and he never recommends anything you don't need. Available to answer any questions one might have, as well.

Extraordinary customer service! This office sets the bar for what a doctors visit should be! From the moment you call to set up an appointment, you are greeted by either Jenn or Phillip. They are so cheerful and polite, making you feel like old friends!
