We just arrived in Paris and we were told there would be a representative waiting for us at the apartment. No one was there and we ended up calling the numbers that they had given us . All of the numbers were either not in service or a machine would answer. Since we couldn't wait in the street we took to the local Ibis Hotel down the street to book a room and drop off our bags. At 11:30AM we reached out to them to see how we could rectify the situation and get a hold of our host.

After many more failed attempts it was pretty clear that we had been taken. While I personally didn't book

Paristay Apartment Rentals. I read the website, sounds great! Had a budget for hotel/apt, then went ahead and rented the apartment. What is not clearly stated on the website is the fees! So far, the rental costs 1271E + 328E agency fee + Checkout cleaning fee 60E, +50E fee if you check out on a weekend (most of us do leave home on weekend) + insurance certificate fee (have to have insurance to rent their apartments) 50E, + 890E Refundable Deposit + 100E to the check in agent. Anyways, you see what I mean? Do you think I will rent from this agency again? I like Halldis, they were way easier to deal
