TWISTED VINE BREWERY is the brainchild of 3 guys who quite simply, just love to drink great beer. Given they like to drink it so much, making it themselves seemed the only logical next step. So, after many combined years of prolific home brewing under their belts, and basements and garages filled with coolers, kegs, and gadgets of all description, Twisted Vine decided to focus our passion on providing artisan beers to the local community.

Wow, we just finished our supply of Madison County Wine and I realized I had never written a review. Fantastic Wine, we do a lot of motorcycling and car touring in retirement and this is one of the my wife's top 2 favorite wineries. You have to try them. We are going 300+ miles back for more. Thanks MCW.

What a beautiful establishment.
On an early Saturday afternoon were made the trip down to the winery. You pull up a long driveway and park near the buildings. Walk on up and into the main building. You're greeted with smiles and open arms.
You get to order wine right there or try a couple samples. There is a lot to learn here.
I knew I already really enjoyed their Lolipop wine. We're snagged a bottle and a spot on the patio.
Lots of open sitting space. We grabbed a table with a umbrella so the sun wouldn't cook us.
We talked with the owner for a bit, enjoyed lots of wine

We arrived late in the day on a weekday, but the staff member on duty was extremely accommodating and friendly. The wine selection was enjoyable, and the facility was top-notch. We will make plans to stop in from now on every time we are traveling up I-35, and are talking about a trip this fall to take advantage of the leaves changing.

As you make the drive up the lane you'll see grapevines lining the road at this picturesque winery. If you love wine and great outdoor space, visit this winery! Their "Summer Blonde" a yummy moscato is THE wine of summer! Our party of eight enjoyed the 6 wine sampler for $5. There's a wine for every taste, from dry to sweet. The 20% alc. "Phat Man" will wake up your taste buds. We also sampled their beer flight which provided a nice variety of beer. There's even a wine slushie machine that was cold and sweet. We had the cheese plate with Havarti and a

While touring the Iowa countryside, we happened on this delightful winery. The hostess was pleasant, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the wines produced there. They produce a splendid variety of wines from dry to semi-sweet to sweet. They use local grapes blended with either CA or NY grapes for some wonderful offerings.

Great wine and a great experience! I stopped by while traveling on I-35 and I did not regret going out of my way four miles. Crystal was very kind and conversational. I got two bottles of white which were delicious! And they gave me a free bag of wine corks for crafts. Stop by, you won't regret it!!
