Gretchen uses strengths based, developmentally appropriate, and culturally sensitive approaches to her practice. She works closely with her clients to determine meaningful and attainable goals of care, and implements interventions based upon current best practices and evidenced based standards of care.
Our approach to therapy at Vantage Point is both holistic and integrative. Though each specialist is unique in her approach, we all believe that connection is an integral part of the healing process. We also value compassion, equality, sincerity, and feel that all individuals have it within themselves to grow and heal from any challenge that brings a person into therapy.
What is Individual Psychotherapy like at Vantage Point? At Vantage Point, individual psychotherapy is a collaborative process where we help our client's take the steps they need in order to live healthy, meaningful, and fulfilling lives. We have a client-centered, supportive, safe, and non-judgmental environment from which we assist our client's to meet their goals.
All groups require an initial intake appointment to assess goodness of fit for the client and the group. We currently offer the below groups via Telehealth at this time. This therapy group is for adults who are struggling with OCD. Patients will explore Exposure with Response Prevention Techniques and the core tenants of Acceptance and Commitment therapy (mindfulness, defusion, values).
Our mission at Vantage Point is to help clients improve their relationships by learning to overcome and manage problems that cause distress in their relationship. We provide a safe space for each individual to learn to understand his or her own unique contribution to the current issues within the relationship.

Ignoring your mental health concerns is never a good idea. Much like your physical health, your mental health is crucial to a happy life. After my insurance changed at work i found i no longer had the same care team i had been with for several years. Finding a new therapist is always difficult. You never know what the person will be like or how you two will interact. Or if it will be helpful. Finding my therapist Shelley at Vantage Point has been a huge help for me in many ways. She is very kind and cares about her clients a lot. Psychotherapy is essentially talk therapy for people with varying

I contacted Vantage to get my son an appointment and none of these people return phone calls! Very unprofessional for a company who's supposed to be there when you need them the most.
To answer your reply nobody let me know anything so I was waiting for some kind of response. I can see why your office isn't well known OR well reviewed by others who have contacted you.

I found Vantage Point Center for Psychotherapy, found they were accepting new patients & took my insurance. I called, was told after a LENGTHY message to email instead - so I did... waited earnestly for SOME reply, even: "We're not able to help you..." but nothing. It's been a week now. The responsiveness of mental health providers during the pandemic is utterly abysmal... I'm sad to see that Vantage Point is just another drop in the bucket of providers with poor communication and follow-up. Good luck to those needing help, best to just keep looking and not waste your breath on emailing these people
