I injured my ankle playing rugby and had to get back to being match-ready within a limited time frame. My first appointment at the clinic was scheduled very promptly, and from then on I was able to book further appointments on a regular basis, as suited my particular situation.

Massage, myofascial release, joint mobilization and Strain-Counterstrain are some of the types of manual therapy you can expect to experience at Mount Washington Physical Therapy.
Orthopedic physical therapy treats, or rehabilitates, injuries to the muscles, bones, joints, tendons, and ligaments. Often sought to treat conditions that cause pain, decreased strength or range of motion, and swelling, orthopedic physical therapy is helpful for a wide variety of issues. Some of these issues include acute sports injuries, back and neck pain, spinal conditions, arthritis and orthopedic post-operative discomfort and recovery.
Spinal therapy is a non-surgical approach that treats low back, neck and radiating arm and leg pain. Patients seek spinal therapy for issues such as degenerative spinal discs, facet joint syndromes and spinal disc hernias. Treatment of spinal disc problems and facet joints is aimed at taking pressure off of nerves and the overall structure of the spine which assists in the movement of oxygen and nutrient-rich fluids to promote healing.

Joshua Weis is a caring, thoughtful and patient physical therapist who was able to help treat my ankle instability and lower back pain through a combination of approaches. Most physical therapists I've seen focus primarily on delivering exercises, but Joshua Weis combined this approach with massage, ultrasound, and e-stim which rounded out the therapy and ultimately provided better results. I will be visiting him again with any future issues and highly recommend!

I have used Joshua as my physical therapist since he joined Mt. Washington Physical Therapy several years ago. He is, without question, the best physical therapist who has ever treated me. Josh taught anatomy at Boston University for 7 years. I believe this gives him an edge in his profession. There have been days when I have literally crawled into his office. After he treated me, I was able to briskly walk out. In addition to being a great physical therapist, Josh is an extremely nice person with a high level of empathy towards his patients. I highly recommend him.

I have had the most amazing experience with Dr. Weis. He very quickly got rid of some significant neck and sciatica pain that had been very bothersome. He has since helped to diagnose and treat some other postural issues that have improved my daily comfort. I highly recommend Dr. Weis and Mt Washington Physical Therapy!

I got a next-day appointment. My vertigo was cured. But the BEST thing was discovering a medical practice that is run the old-fashioned way: with caring, un-rushed pace, patience, follow-up calls to check in?? Who does that anymore? Joshua does. He is a gem. I cannot begin to describe the full range of excellence practiced here. Top to bottom a wonderful place if you need physical therapy, or in my case vestibular physical therapy. Unreal.

I was recently treated by Josh Wies for successive, unrelated, injuries spanning almost 16 months. I would like to share my gratitude for the care and competence in treatment demonstrated by Josh during my many visits to his office.
His "bedside" manner and approach to problem solving was reassuring
and most effective. (As long as one follows his guidance for treatment.)
Josh's months-long efforts have given me the "return-to-normalcy" results that make this commentary a pleasure to convey.
I recommend Josh not only for for his excellent skills as a medical professional but also for his pleasant

After a car accident, I went in to see Joshua for 12 weeks of PT and it was an awesome experience. He is super friendly, explains the treatment and diagnosis really effectively, and I would leave each session feeling much better. When I first came in, I couldn't turn my head to the left at all because my neck was messed up from the impact, but after working with him, I now have full mobility to turn my head in either direction! He also worked out most of the knots in my upper back from the accident. Also he's really fun and friendly!

I love running, but was having severe knee pain every time I ran. Josh, the therapist, worked with me using several modalities. He got me running again and I just completed my first half marathon in 1:35:13. I really appreciated Josh's time and expertise. I highly recommend Josh and Mt. Washington Physical Therapy!

I had a great experience here to recover from some acute neck pain. Sessions were effective in helping to reduce discomfort and bring my neck and upper back into proper alignment. I was also given a variety of exercises to continue strengthening on my own. After just a few weeks of treatment the recovery has been remarkable. Highly recommended!

Bonnie comes highly recommended by her community of professional peers. Every physical therapist I meet in the Maryland area either knows Bonnie well, or knows of Bonnie and thinks well of her. Observing Bonnie in her practice at Mt. Washington physical therapy, I can attest that many of Bonnie's patients are referred to her by other patients who experienced pain relief. Sonny
