Dr Golbin has been my psychiatrist ever since I first moved to Illinois. I found him based on his proximity to my current job but ended up retaining him ever since. He is very patient, caring and intelligent. Prior to him I switch through many different psychs for various reasons, but he has been with me for longer than the rest. Highly recommend!

Dr. Alex Goldbin, in Deerfield, IL is an extremely wonderful, brilliant and complex psychiatrist who helps people who are dealing with anxiety/depressive disorders, sleep disorders and all other issues dealing with mental health disorders. He’s also extremely knowledgeable about what medications to give people for their individual needs. He’s also highly empathetic and compassionate! I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone.

I love dr goblin have been seeing him for one year. He is a compassionate and caring doctor. Extremely knowledgeable and takes his time with me. I started seeing him while in a very dark state. There is something to be said for intuition. From the moment I met Dr. Golbin, my gut told me to stop looking, "he's brilliant - you found him"! His style is refreshing. He doesn't look at me as if I was a scientific puzzle to solve. Dr Golbin has been my psychiatrist for 5 years. He has always been extremely helpful and caring. I don't know if I would be here without Dr. Golbin. He has been an incredible doctor. When I was going through extremely intense medical treatment at a nearby medical center I was referred to him and he was invaluable in my improvement. He has a highly intelligent and multi pronged way of looking at problems and unique options to try. He listens to your input and concerns and doesn't push things on you. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Horrible experience here. Went here for an appointment, charged me $200, to see the doctor. After keeping me waiting for a disrespectful amount of time, I finally got to see him. First off the bat, he asks me rudely with an attitude “who are you, what do you need”. Should have just got up and left, but I figured since I had already paid, might as well see him out. The 20 minute new patient session, was just a back and forth of arguing. After he insulted me for the second time, I got right up and just walked away.

After my first visit it was very clear that Dr Golbin cares about his patients and listens to what they have to say. He is friendly, asks good non-generic questions, and wants to find a root cause of any issues before prescribing medication. He also explains things very thoroughly. I will update this review after treatment has started.
