Dr. Pillai specializes in Myopia Management and Orthokeratology. He is on the advisory committee for the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, and has lectured on the topic of Ortho-k. He is certified as a myopia management and ortho-k practitioner with several of the leading companies in the industry.
Dry Eye is a common term used to describe the medical condition of Ocular Surface Disease. Ocular Surface Disease can include a tear film deficiency, Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, and Blepharitis/Demodex infestation. These conditions can occur simultaneously to cause eye irritation, discomfort, watering, and most commonly fluctuating vision.
Dr. Pillai specializes in custom specialty contact lenses that are used to manage a myriad of eye conditions including Keratoconus, Ocular Surface Disease or Dry Eye, and post surgical corneas. He is recognized a Contact Lens Expert by Bausch & Lomb, and is certified as an advanced contact lens provider for several Scleral Lenses designs and Specialty Contact Lenses.

Very enjoyable visit and eye examination. This was my first visit to the office. Staff made sure the office was practicing COVID safety and this felt like a safe, healthy environment. Everyone wore masks. Staff was very inviting and friendly from the moment I entered the door. I met with Dr. Anith Pillai, who was very pleasant, knowledgeable and kind. He explained every step of my eye exam in detail and asked if I had other questions or concerns. I highly recommend Evolutionary Eye office.

Fantastic experience from before the appointment even began through the end! The office is clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Chau was able to diagnose the issues that we came to see him for, and he was able to explain them thoroughly and in an easy-to-understand manner. He's got a great bedside manner and he's very knowledgeable! Absolutely recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Chau. He has been great and his level of knowledge always blows me away. This is not your average eye clinic by ANY means. Dr. Chau specializes in vision therapy which provides many deeper layers of understanding on how the eye functions as well as how both eyes function together. He is truly one of the best at what he does and the office staff is fantastic as well. The office does an amazing job of following up with reminders and they’re genuinely caring with all the patients.

I am so happy with the service I received at Evolutionary eye care! Dr. Pillai is the most patient eye doctor I’ve seen.
I’ve been to two follow-ups with him and each time, he always answers all my questions and does not make me feel rushed.
His staff is very helpful and kind. They are taking all the covid precautions from waiting in car for appointment, temperature checks and wiping everything down. They’ve had sanitary practices in place since before Covid.
I cannot recommend them enough and I can’t wait to be back for my yearly check-up!

We had our first visit at Evolutionary Eye Care yesterday and I am blown away at how amazing it was! My daughter has been in glasses for 6 years now and we have NEVER left an eye appointment feeing hopeful and happy until yesterday. They gave us hope we have never had. Both of the doctors were so peppy and fun, they made my daughter feel so comfortable.
